Hi there,

We tow a 2006 Elddis Crusader Superstorm with a 2001 Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 did long wheel base. They make an excellent combination.

Regards

Steve

I have 2004 2.0 Suzuki Grand Vitara pulling a 1999 Coachman Amara 450/2. This gives me about a 91% match. When towing however, it feels like the van isn't there!!

I have a bulldog stablizer, but still, an amazing combo I think.

Hi Andy

I Have a Jaguar Xtype 2.5 auto {4wd},I tow a

Swift Challenger 470/2 SE {1991}. I have found it a great

tow car, and had a great 3week tour of Scotland last year.

I tow a four seater Peugeot 106 with a six birth Sunsport.

Fantastic weight ratio, you really don't know it's there.
Lol, what engine do you have in the Sunsport? And is it left or right hand drive? Oh, and where's the toilet situated in the Peugeot 106? I've heard that if you remove the right hand wheels, the 106 is good for shooting haggis!

Have just had a change, until recently I had a 52 reg Vectra 2.2 petrol and a 2003 Avondale Rialto 535/5, have changed both in the last month, now have a Freelander 2 (diesel 2.2) and a new Abbey Expression 550.

Looking forward to trying it out.

Emmerson, if I didn't know better, I might think you were taking the Michael.

Everyone knows you can't shoot hagis with a Pug 106, you shoot pool with one.

The Sunsport is a left hooker, 6.2 litre.

Hi, 1997 swift conqueror TA unladen 1315kg, loaded sensibly, towed with a VW Touran TDI, excellent car and tipping the scales with me in it at 1720kg's.

Paul.

Was it that bad, the moddy removed it Steve?

You wasn't trying to show pictures of your undressed Disco again was you?

Try this link. It was put together by Steve (Sparkes) some time ago to help us non-IT folks insert pictures in our replies. Note, however, that the picture must already be somewhere on the internet in order to be able to use this tool and the pictures should not be too large (the one above is 400 pixels wide).

I tow a 1987 Bailey Padgent with my Rover Metro GSI, It's a 100% match when fully loaded but tows loverly, We use the 820SI auto if it's fully loaded though.

Neither car knows the vans there and it does not effect the MPG on either.

hi andy great question

we have a 2006 superstorm and was dragging it with a 1993 2.5tdi lwb shogun, what a combo .In september we changed to a kia sorrento 2.5xt auto what a fantastic and stress free experience this has turned out to be.I spent nearly 12months debating on this car and know it will not stand the test of time as the shogun has/did but it is still pound for pound a brilliant towcar ,regardless of all the negative comments we have found them groundless
