Did you ever get to Fulton's Sugar Bush at Pakenham, just outside Ottawa. Most amazing thick pancakes with jugs of Maple Syrup on each table. You could also see the Maple trees being tapped.
No never went there but did visit a maple syrup farm in Quebec. In Ottawa I used a place called Le Cafe which was next to the National Arts Center complex but was alongside the Rideau Canal. It was quite close to DND HQ at 101 Colonel By. I had use of a Cheverton and some evenings we would bring it down from Dows Lake to Le Cafe for some eats and drinks. Nice thing about Ottawa we’re the number of eateries in the city center.
