Why not? I bought second hand Alko lozenge and then the lock set separately. But I made sure that the lock set had been de=registered first so that I could then register it with Alko. But when touring I used a lighter Milenco wheel lock. Far less fiddly than Alko. But these days I would buy the Nemesis or Milenco equivalent and use that when touring and at home/storage.Is it a good idea to buy a second hand Alko?
Unfortunately, I need a number 43.I have an Alko lock and a No39 Lozenge for sale! (Bailey Phoenix)
The lock has been deregistered (email to prove it) and has two keys plus all the paperwork and the registration card with the vital number on it.
PM me if interested in either.
