They are supposed to be ok , looking at the bumf.Would the L&L be suitable for long term usage on a seasonal pitch?

My brother has just bought a caravan and has the L&L , he says it's great, but he has been away twice on fairly flat pitches, the L&L can only raise a wheel by 6 inches, I would rather have a ramp. Cheaper as well.On a seasonal pitch I probably wouldn't use one if I did I would check it weekly. Probably I would level the van on ramps/blocks. Then with the car attached jack it up and fit the Alko lock.
I don't think BB has anything to worry about as the dealer is delivering the caravan to the site and will probably set it all up for BB. BB's insurance may require the ALKO lockOn a seasonal pitch I probably wouldn't use one if I did I would check it weekly. Probably I would level the van on ramps/blocks. Not this time around no towbar on car the dealer will back it on to the service pitch and make sure it level and I am hoping he shows me how the Al-ko wheel lock goes and also follow someone else advice on here but thanks for your input .On a seasonal pitch I probably wouldn't use one if I did I would check it weekly. Did you not have the AlKo wheel lock on your last caravan. ?Not this time around no towbar on car the dealer will back it on to the service pitch and make sure it level and I am hoping he shows me how the Al-ko wheel lock goes and also follow someone else advice on here but thanks for your input .![]()
No just had a Bulldog Euroclamp on caravanDid you not have the AlKo wheel lock on your last caravan. ?
The problem comes when you are trying to fit the AlKo wheel lock, and trying to level the caravan side to side with a ramp.We purchased a 2nd hand Alko lock last week for our single axle caravan.
It could not be easier to fit and it perplexes me when I see comments about it being difficult 🤔
