May be Mel only drives in the dry😉

Many decades ago my Mother drove an Old Ford Prefect. The wipers would start off OK and the gradually slow down and stop. She somehow discovered that if you opened a door and slammed it shut hard they would go again. She regularly did this whilst still driving along with me and my brother as kids in the back ( not seat belted of course). This went on for months.
Possibly this is where I acquired my clearly woeful laissez faire attitude to windscreen wipers.

BB Do you think if we lived in a very wet rainy part of the Country you might change them more or less often? Little use might not do the rubber any good🤔
Always aware of safety so if needed would change them straight away so would continue to have good vision when driving.
