Hello All,Has anyone been to Wood Farm in Charmouth recently as we are going there in july read some different reviews but the reviews are from a while ago so thought someone might have gone there recently.Thanks.
Hi Chris, we've stayed there recently with our tents rather than the van, camping area okay, van area much nicer but take plenty of levelling blocks, some of the pitches have lovely views, others are a bit cramped. facilities and access v.good, lots to do in the area. They take you to your pitch so not much choice but we were quite happy with our stay. Please ask for any more details.
Hi Chris, We stayed at Wood Farm last summer and had a good few nights in our caravan. As Ian said, you are led to your pitch by a member of staff driving a quad bike - at least we were- . It's a very hilly site with some fine views. Internet access is available and a fine indoor swimming pool - not used by us but it looked good. There's a small shop at reception. We only had one problem in that someone complained that I had parked on the wrong side of our van - I was just following suit - and had to move it! A bit petty pehaps but it didn't mar our enjoyment of the site or the surrounding area.
