If it's ok, Rhiannon would like to do a cake, too, please. She's very good for a 15 year old, and you can never have too much cake!

Can she do coffee cake ?.........if so I will volunteer to be chief tester :silly:

I've just checked out the long range forecast, knowing full well that things can and do change rapidly, and it appears that the gods may be going to smile upon us...fingers crossed B)

Just got back from 3 nights in a greenfield site in Llandysul where the grass was cut the day before we arrived. The first night we had heavy rain so we were treading grass everywhere for the rest of the time. As the Woosiefest is also on grass we've decided to be lazy and not do a perfect clean before then. ;) It was getting dark as we put the van onto its storage pitch, so we have an excuse. :)

Less than 2 weeks now, can't wait.

We're on the countdown as well, but in the south of the Principality. We're doing our 'duty' for a fellow caravanner. Actually we're on a freebie! - "Chicken sitting" - 5 hens in our charge - feed 'em, clean 'em, eat the eggs. Free electric, free pitch, apples on the trees, damsons to pick, blackberries down the lane. Beautiful secluded pitch, private, quiet, secure. No one to bother us.. 5 minutes from the front at Porthcawl, free parking all along the front, plenty of good walking. Front window looking across to the Brecon Beacons. Good digital tv signal, what else could you want? - Oh yes, we're doing quite well for the weather too. But it wouldn't be much good to 'most' Woosies as we have to use our own facilities. You know emptying loos and things!
See you all at Anitas

Looks good.........bring me some Damsons please......I love Damson jam ;)

Belinda and I have just spent a fantastic weekend near Henley on Thames for the Wedding of our son Peter to our new daughter Caroline (we don't do Daughter in Law).
Beautiful weather for the event on Saturday.......lovely church ceremony followed by a spectacular reception :) :)

Well Sir Gab
I see the chair is to help you and Jean sit on the eggs :p

Well done Bill and Belinda. Nothing like good news to set the scene for a Woosie Fest

looks lovely. we used to farm sit for friends, before we had the van, but we have taken it down there and helped with chickens and ducks. In fact, it's where we bought our first little 'trial' van.
Rhiannon and Felix had so much time down there - they can feed lambs and calves, collect eggs, and - most importantly - understand and appreciate firstly how hard farmers work, and secondly, where their food comes from. No squeamish kids in my house!

Are video clips added the same way as photos? I have a video clip from my dash cam showing a blonde in her early 20s joining the motorway without seeing my bright white car with daylight running lights towing a big white caravan.

Upload to Photobucket and click on Direct then copy to the little earth link....
There are various video editors out there to shorten the clip if needed, i save mine at 1min length ;)

Watch the first few seconds of each video that i have uploaded ..... if you just hover you mouse on the video you can then click full screen, you can also pause it to take in the view :eek:hmy:

How not to join a motorway see here.

I just had time to check for space in the right-hand lane and quickly pull over to miss her. The caravan followed me very well. Watch out for the dark red Ford Ka and take avoiding action where necessary.

Sprocket - thanks for info. I chopped my clip to 15 seconds, can't bear to watch any more. :p
