Due to work commitments / weather with a bit of luck i will get over next weekend to have a few site inspection's ... ;)

We are looking to Hop,, Around in Feb, as has been said , give the table an inkling, as your Knights, could help you, in feed back.
As for the Woosie fest we wil probably do a Looonngg week end. Thusday to Monday, depending on how long the Marigolds last. :kiss:

The nearer and nearer it gets to home the better as will only be able to do the weekend. Saw a bit of the Derwent flooding today when we pootled over to York. Subsiding slowly as usual.

You'd better take a few extra packs off marigolds Hutch as its my little ones birthday around the 3rd weekend in September so I may not be able to attend the Woosiefest , better pack the nose pegs to !!! :sick:

What a silly Woosie me is. :silly: The plan for the depths of winter was for the van to go into the workshop we use to be adapted, a few grab handles here and there, the odd ramp, try and sort out easier access that I might manage solo etc etc. The end of January is now rapidly approaching and I've forgotten to sort it and now no time to get sorted by half term. Looks like SWMBO and Tiddly Peep will still be on lifting duties this holiday. :(

Martin, I know how you feel, all good intensions to get away have ben defeated,, by forces unseen, French classes, visitors, and now doctors appointments, all this time on ourr hands in retirment seems to disappear, We had more touring when I was at work. :angry: :unsure:

I had to order these especially for a new lad who has just started working for us.....he's 6'7" and size 15 feet

And yes they fit him perfectly......wish I got myself a pair as well :woohoo:

Dear Woosies
After viewing a couple of possible sites last weekend and one more today i now need the help of our trusty scribe Sir DD to put the final touches together for the Woosiefest the site that i have found has adequate facility inc hard standings with 16a EHU, there is a pub that is adjacent to the site that offers great food (well i had to sample it) :p .....

More to follow :whistle:

On your extensive travels and food sampling on behalf of your loyal subjects; did your majesty come across any sites in the general Yorkshire area that offered seasonal pitches and were open all year. Planning to relocate our van at the end of this season, to an all year pitch; but they are not plentiful. Specially one that meets my Woosie specifications.

I'll start the head count, we intend to arrive Sat 10th Sept and leave on Wed 21st so 11 nights in total
We are off then to somewhere half way home for 3 nights to break the journey up,
GOSH 14 full nights in the van...........Perhaps a taste of retirement, hope I dont get bored :lol: :lol:

Edit; Think somewhere on here it stated the Actual fest would be the 17th Sept, is that correct, if so i got it covered :)

Correct ;)

We will be over on Tuesday the 13th and leaving on Tuesday the 20th .

This site does have seasonal pitches ( a work colleague has one on here )
But some of the more popular one's have waiting lists ...

Also these have a few sites to choose from

We are planning to be there but need more info about approximate location of site before committing to number of days.

Sir Gagakev .......Don't read this next bit!!...... :lol: ;)

Currently down in southern Spain for 6 weeks with the caravan enjoying blue skies and sunshine.......still trying to get my moneys worth out of the old Swift :)
