Our Royal Woosieness has given me a hapless task where failure is not permitted otherwise I may lose my Woosie Jewels

Sir Gabs you have the wrong place. I do know His Woosie Highness
has prostituted his belly and supped and tasted the fine dining wares and ales at many a place in research of the next Woosie establishment .
I am sure King Sproket will announce the venue once a price and facilities have been agreed.
Spanish Gaffer the actual Woosiefest qwill take place on saturday 17th September 2016. Most of us are staying a week or two either side of the Fest.

With lots of weekend breaks plus a couple of longer and fairly expensive main holiday trips planned and booked for this year, and our regular annual pilgrimage to the Twinwood Festival in August we're going to sit down later to have a think to see how to juggle the finances to have extra days in the area. I have always fancied visiting North Yorkshire and the site looks ideal so hopefully the Woosiefest can be our last 'big holiday' of 2016 :cheer:

The event that you're thinking of takes place in October Sir DD
I'll be transported 'back to the future' from the 1940s and 50s at the Twinwood Festival in August into the 21st century via caravan.
Who needs a De Lorean?
We really want to stay for an extra couple of days at least, and we'll be arriving on Sunday 11th rather then the following day , but we'll come back to you on our departure date Sir WC

That's a shame as the Woosiefest is 'up north' especially for those who find it a long way down to the Midlands. :( I guess your location would be about 80 miles from a possible Woosiefest location. ;)

Edit - we lay on a good party, as long as he lays off the beer. :woohoo:

Oyay! Oyay! Oyay!

My Fellow Knights and Ladies of The Woosie Round Table hear this.

On behalf of our most revered , worshipped respected honoured and engineered Royal Highness, The Champion of Champion Aldi Bargain Hunter's, King Sproket. I make this solemn Woosie Proclamation.

After much Woosie gut busting imbibement and feasting at various Yorkshire Establishments our King Sproket and his fair Lady Mick have chosen a venue for the Woosiefest this year.

Treble roll of drums please..................................

We will encamp at:-

The Black Bull Caravan Park
Malton Road
Pickering
North Yorkshire
YO18 8EA

Phone: 01751 472528

You will see from the following e-mail a very pleasant Lady Louise will take your individual bookings and £20.00 deposit. Tell her you are a Woosie and part of the Woosiefest

Louise has given us a group booking discount of £ 2.00 per night which isn't too bad considering the time of year and potential electricity use.

Hello Dustydog,

Thank you for your enquiry.

We do have availability for those dates for 12 caravans.

We can do a rally rate of £8 per person per night and your units will be on hardstand with electric hook up. Sorry our touring pitches are not fully serviced though.

You will have full use of all our facilities including the hot showers which do not have coin slots.

We ask for a £20 deposit for each pitch booked. Our booking reopens tomorrow so if you would like to go ahead with any bookings people can start to ring in their deposits anytime.

Please let me know if you would like me to pencil a certain number of pitiches in for the club in the meantime.

Kind regards,

Louise

I shall make my booking today for me and Lady Villa and give Louise the Royal Book Keepers latest head count.

My Quest continues in negotiations with the Landlord and Landlady at:-
http://theblackbullinnpickering.co.uk/.
This achetypal hostelery is I am told by King Sproket full of Yorkshire charm so we should be ok once they agree we can borrow a room for the Woosiefest . Usual terms of course we buy their drinks in return etc.

Our Royal Woosieness is a bit busy at the moment on Royal matters with his Judiciary so please give him a few days to respond.

Here's a wee dram to the forthcoming Woosiefest

Thanks for the info, I'll get booked tomorrow, if anyone is coming from the north the road from Thirsk to Pickering, A170, caravans are banned on the Sutton Bank hill. There is a dedicated caravan route, that bypasses and is well sign posted.

I had sunny skies, in Hertford at the C&CC site, well at least on Saturday afternoon, enough to get the awning down, which the gale on Thursday night didnt manage to do, and the bonus was I got a full Calor lite. The wardens had four full ones.

Well done to our worthy King and our chief negotiator. I will book tomorrow.

Sir Crying. Can you not shift your young 'uns party to the weekend before? I am sure we can manage balloons and cake at the Woosiefest. At least 2 Woosies sing in Choirs so an almost tuneful Happy birthday is likely.
Mel
