Sir Crying, you simply HAVE to go to the Woosiefest, as we can't provide the juveniles this year! They will have a marvellous time - my 2 loved every minute of it last year.
Sadly due to work, school and distance we are unable to attend, but will be there in spirit, hic! ;)

When we were at Poston Mill Sir WC Kopite and his Lady Top Trump brought their youngsters, and they had a brilliant time.

Welcome to the Woosie club. Sir Crying
I am a proud member myself but as yet I haven't presented myself at any of the gatherings held by the Woosies.
Hopefully this year I may be able to resolve that.
Brian

Sir Brian_c are you any nearer to resolving the attendance at this year's Woosiefest? We would love to see you there.

Edit - You are only 85 miles away from the venue. :)

We are on pitch 39, Loise did ask about whether we were Single or twin Axle and also the length.
Can't find a pitch layout anywhere even on their planning permission.
The plot thickens. Who will be furthest from the CWP, or the pub. !!!!!!
Hutch.

Saint -Spoon, I bet you feel sick, but not as bad as I did when, mine 8 months old, it rolled into the garage roof and split the back corner panel, £5500, Caravan Club were great. Paid up straight away.

Thank you. Jenny's pretty much got everything under control these days. If we can talk my mother into having the dowgs then we won't bother with the awning.

Well I am committed to a two week family gathering type holiday in September.
Not now having any work commitments, in December I made the statement:-
"I'm available any time in September just book it and let me Know"

So when I get the information I'll be able to see if I'm able to get over if only for a few days. I'll have to take pot luck regarding pitch availability.
It really is a nice area we were in Scarborough at the back end of last year and drove through to Pickering for a trip to Whitby on the North Yorks Moors Railway. A really good day and lovely fish and chips in Whitby.
It would be good to put a few faces to the forum names I read.
Of course I wouldn't probably be able to hear 90% of what anyone says to me.
but unlike two years ago when my hearing virtually disappeared I don't let it stop me doing things now.
At least site noise doesn't affect my sleep now so there are some compensations.
Best wishes to all
Brian

You'll be same as me ½ the time. (JUST NOD & AGREE!!!) What'll make it more difficult is if they "all" start talking Yorkshire! I'll publish 1 or 2 practise sheets over next 6 months.
1st. :_
Nah then, ‘ere’s a guide to chattin’ reight Yorkshire!
Firstly, ye ‘ave tuh drop yer ‘H’ as in ‘has’ and ‘her’, and yer ‘T’ as in ‘that’ and ‘cat’, replacing the ‘T’ with a slight ‘h’ sound. Ready to practice?…..
“ ‘er ca-h ‘as a fa-h ra-h stashed in’t coil ‘oyle” TRANSLATION “Her cat has a fat rat stuffed in the coal cellar”. Too complicated fur ye? Well ere’s a glossary for ye. Tha’ll be giving Sean Bean a run fur ‘is moneh in nor tarme!
A
Aye – meaning yes. “Aye lass, I’ll be down for tea in ten.”
‘appen – meaning perhaps. “I’ll happen that’s true.”
Allus – meaning always. “I allus wash behind me ears.”
Ah’m – meaning I am. “Ah’m off t’ bog.”
Arse/arse end – meaning posterior, back of something, bottom. Originating in old Norse dialect. “She looks like the arse end of a donkey”. 2. Used to describe a person behaving stupidly. “You’re such an arse at times.”
A’gate – meaning ‘get on your way’, ‘be off with you’. “Get a’gate or tha’ll be late fur school”

B's next week!

..........I am ready and waiting to support a fellow Southerner and Nissan Terrano driver who wants to join the Woosies.
Being only a Sir in brackets Baldrick I will wait for proper Sirs on the top table to say yea or nay on when and if any test has been met ;)
