Well done to our worthy King and our chief negotiator. I will book tomorrow.

Sir Crying. Can you not shift your young 'uns party to the weekend before? I am sure we can manage balloons and cake at the Woosiefest. At least 2 Woosies sing in Choirs so an almost tuneful Happy birthday is likely.
Mel

Good post Lady Mel Sir Crying's young un would love two parties, go on treat him Sir Crying
I will even persuade His majesty to let you off the Woosie Pot emptying duties.

I had sunny skies, in Hertford at the C&CC site, well at least on Saturday afternoon, enough to get the awning down, which the gale on Thursday night didnt manage to do, and the bonus was I got a full Calor lite. The wardens had four full ones.
Hutch

I can better that...............we had sunshine today, all 15 minutes of it !!!!!!

I forgot to thank His Highness and Dusty Dog, for their hard work in finding a good looking site.
Come on Sir Crying your lad would love the attention, and I could still do with a hand with the Woosie Thrones, even though you might, seem to be getting a let off.
Hutch.

Come on Sir Crying

The Woosiefests are legendary.
Tis only once a year all the Nobility meet and greet, Your lad will have a wonderful time.
This could be your golden opportunity as I reckon you have less than two hours travelling . I think there is a possibility of a train ride too :cheer:

Nice one everyone concerned!
Just 60 miles for me, not stayed on the site before but go past it quite regularly, (particularly on 2 wheels, some good 'rides' in N . Yorks). Plenty of places to visit & do for "you visitors", you'll find it a great area. See you then. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: (that's 3 cheers!)

Our new Woosie seems to have cried off
Where is he

Update.
We've been allocated pitch 36. This may change depending on the lengths of other units.

Just paid our deposit and spoken to Louise, she awaits the Woosiefest to put faces to the forum names that we all have given.
We have been allocated pitch 37 due to our door being on the other side

As for Sir Dustydog and his great negotiating skills he has earned himself another knighthood :woohoo: :woohoo:
He can now add the letters TS if he wishes ......Trusty Scribe.......

Sir Crying, you simply HAVE to go to the Woosiefest, as we can't provide the juveniles this year! They will have a marvellous time - my 2 loved every minute of it last year.
Sadly due to work, school and distance we are unable to attend, but will be there in spirit, hic! ;)

Do you know are they numbered King, we're on 10, sounds like segregation!! Looked on Google but can't work 'em out.

When i spoke to Louise she told me that the pitches allotted to the woosies were all together over three rows (so we don't have to wobble very far when we leave the pub) .....

Maybe our Trusty Scribe will be able to get a site plan with the pitch numbers on ?
