Hello my friends, Total agreement on not worrying too much about Friday evening, We'll need to pop and get FnC or something for tea.

Hoping to move house on Wednesday (IF these blasted and any other expletive you can think of solicitors get a move on) Packing booked for tomorrow so fingers crossed. Not sure what the internet is going to be like in the lead up to the jollies so hopefully I won't miss anything important. (I'm sure I'll get an email if there is)

We're really looking forward to the weekend as mumsie poos is having the dogs and the sprogs so we're riding solo and will be glad to get away after the move.

Right, must crack on with the solicitor head banging.

All the best in the house move. Am I right in thinking that you are moving from somewhere a bit northerly to somewhere much more southerly, I.e. In the opposite direction to Pickalot.

Change of plans Mel, The southerly move is off for the next few years and at the moment we're just moving from house to bungalow down the road.

Bonjour, to the Woosie Club, members, well here are the Hutcheons in Montreuil, Sur Mer , been here for our last week in France, a a six week tour, to get the dogs sorted out with the vets.
Its been a long trip 2600 miles with almost nil problems. Done the Milleau Viaduct. And the long haul from Bezier to Clement Ferond. Not doing that again at 36c. Car struggled. But we are very heavy. . Ok looking forward to meeting you all at The Black Bull.
Hutch Elaine and Dogs.

Popped in to see my mates the Monks today at Buckfast Abbey, got the usual tonic wine but got chatting to the sales assistant and asked her about the Mead, and ended up buying a bottle of that for you to try as well, made with the honey that they (well the bee's not the monks!!) produce at the Abbey but not brewed on site.

How long has the gold star on the Woosie Club index been there, and what does it mean?

If you save the Woosie Club as a favorite it will place a star on the top blue bar ..... If you uncheck it it will remove it ;)

"Mead" -- if it's supposed to have those sort of properties -- it would be wasted on me! (Once had some at the Meadery @ Mousehole, { 50 yrs ago?} reckon it might have worked once!)

I'm 65 in a few weeks time so my working days are well and truly over :p
Everything hinges on me persuading Herself to get a move on early tommorrow morning but she's not a morning person :S
I never rush though Kev, the carvery serves until 4 pm so we should be ok

We've completed our first stage today and arrived safely in Bolton Abbey (Yorkshire) for 5 nights. Bit hairy on the last few miles as the police had closed the main road and the only route said "unsuitable for lorries and coaches" but we took it. Lots of traffic coming the other way as well because it was the only detour for miles. So see you all on Thursday. :cheer:
