Worse tomorrow Pete.......you know you love it ;)

The only decision taken so far is the old Swift is in it's last season with us.
Woosiethorpe probably the last outing........still weighing up all possible options

This was the first hint, then there was the hint about the caravan show. :cheer:

Nice looking van. Check the back ABS panel on top for hairline fatigue cracks in the corner areas where there are moulded pieces just forwards of the back and on the sides where the rear panel meets seal that runs across the roof. Had to have my rear panel replaced this summer.

How long before some statics or lodges arrive? Nice restaurant though as one can eat and drink without any debate on who drives back.

Sign of the times I think Hutch :(
Managed to lose 8lb last four weeks , mainly down to dry October and Fat Club recipes. BTW these recipes are excellent. Not rabbit food. Another 8lbs will be great go next months wedding up north.
Best wishes to all those not feeling too chipper. :)

I was in a restaurant in Oban when an American tourist asked the waiter what Haggis Tatties and Neeps were. He explained what the Tatties were and she said she wouldn’t like those. She said the same when he explained what Neeps were. After a slight pause in the conversation he said “ Well you’ll noo be liking the Haggis then “

Until the start of the wet season, the Haggie will be still able to be hearded near Toblermorey, as long as they are swimmers.

My best hearder.

Off general topic here, please excuse.

Not being in the best of physical nick at the moment, I realised that cabin fever was getting to me.

My wife dropped me off at the local bus terminus and I (free bus pass) went to Glasgow, I was not at all sure about this as I felt pretty crap unwell.

45 minutes each way, lovely comfortable bus and free local Glasgow newspaper, I took a thermos mug of tea and sat back and relaxed.

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyable, no driving, no parking concerns and a very pleasant visit to the city centre.

Glasgow has surprisingly good architecture and beautiful buildings, I had forgotten just how good because my eyes are almost always focused on the roadstreets.

I must get out more often without the car, I feel I had a really relaxing and beneficial break.

Will be doing it again

My local bus company has introduced proper posh busses... leather seats with head rests, USB for phone charging in every seat. Air Conditioned too! Bit different to the Leyland Nationals when I was a kid!
