Looks like there'll be lots of fun with your pole and no doubt we can put you in charge of all fires.,BBQs and buckets.

Welcome Sir Prise.
We need someone with your credentials to look after the Ladies while us knights go to the pub.

Welcome Willi - didn't you actually say Sir Prised originally and have been mis-quoted by a couple of Woosies?
smiley-surprised.gif
(Surprised icon thingy). That's what woosieness is all about, not always getting it right.

Correct me if I am wrong but we seem to have lost a member
smiley-cry.gif

Sir Stagger has wandered off and took his title out of his signature box
perhaps he has just taken it for a walk and will run back later with it

Quote fom Sir Dusty Dog

It seems to me a number of the Woosies will have problems attending early May . Surfer doesn't want Stowford again as he did have a lot of trouble with a water logged pitch!
Kopite has to factor in Amy and Luke's schools so maybe we should start with establishing when those with kids can get away, ie when is half term etc.
I and Lady Villa are ok to go pretty well anywhere anytime other than 4/5 May and end July early august ( son gets married at last near Wakefield).
Also any suggestions for a venue?

Deli Dave
If you get t he chance perhaps you could have a look at that place near Stratford?

Like Lady Di Di's idea of 2nd bank holiday/spring half term then you could all meet the grandson

Hi Sir Sproket

Just seen Mrs Sproket's review on UKCampsite.
That's a real shame it wasn't as good for her as it should have been.
Maybe we can find something closer to you and more to SWMBO liking. Never , ever upset the lady or you'll be joining our King in the Torbay Fracture Clinic

I agree with what she has put.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=2080

The pitches in that corner were rather cosy to say the least, when Sir WC Kopite left for home, another van arrived on that pitch & their son decided to practise his guitar whilst sat in the passenger seat with the car door open
smiley-yell.gif
he might as well been sat in our van.
Sir Deli Dave also heard the guitar being played, that piece of grass between the hardstandings was no more than six foot wide & at the back of the fence, again the distance would have been the same, in reality there ought to have been only two pitches in that corner.
Maybe it would have turned out different with another pitch ?

Hi King Gagakev WC (2 Bar)
We will happily have a drive over,we are off to Unity Farm for the carnivals tomorrow but first weekend back we will happily have a look and report back to your Majesty.
Also I have to agree the pitches Sir Sproket and Lady Sproket and ourselves suffered abuse of the ears but we still had a great time and are happy to go with the majority although to be fair 5hours or so is a lot for our King to travel and somewhere central might be better although again Sir Sproket had a long journey this time.I'm glad I'm not King its a heavy burden to carry lol
Edit Have read Lady Sproket review and agree thinking that with such a poor phone signal, charging (iirc) £5 a day for internet is a bit exploiting the situation,we ahd to drive into the local village to contact kids which we could have done by skype or FB
Still liked the site and company though

Sorry to hear a few of you were a bit disappointed.

Like said if we can make a good week out of it perhaps we could sort

First date to start the ball rolling -------
Half Term holiday
Monday 27 May 2013 to Friday 31 May 2013
(But bear in mind some will attend the PC rally at the beginning of the month)
How does this suit others??????
Only about 28 weeks away

Me - whatever!
If not required on 'Woosie domestic' duties, us old fogies on the "state" can make the time to make it worthwhile travelling.
Ps. I am pleased to see we are getting the "Woosie" capitalised now in print! (We are a proper noun, or a bunch of proper 'nouns'. )
Is there a word for a collection of Woosies?
A "Waste" perhaps? sounds OK -- A "waste" of Woosies.
There's a nine bob note as prize for better suggestions!

I am happy to go with whatever. We will bend the childcare around it. Would agree with kevs very small print that the late May bank holiday may be a bit close to the stowford rally for some folks. On the other hand you cannot please all of the people all of the time.
