That's 10 units plus hopefully Lady Di Di and Sir Walkalot making 11.

This booking lark has always confused me......... as I always think Thursday to Sunday means those 4 nights leaving on the Monday and this is what we have booked at Rivendale.

Others like Mel think Thursday to Sunday means arrive Thursday leave Sunday or 3 nights.
I always let my wife book for this reason

Much as I enjoy the PCv rally and like Stowford we've been three times now, and running a 4x4 towing a large t/a caravan is not cheap, so this year we've decided to invest the money set aside for fuel in visiting somewhere we haven't been before.

Was ther an accident betweentwo caravans last year when the "wardens" were siting the caravans? I seem to recall that one of the caravans was a brand new caravan and had never been used! Please confirm. Thanks.

Hi surfer, we were pitched up the hill by Parksy, DD and sir Muckypup. As we were setting up, we saw, lower down the hill, someone reverse a van into an electricity bollard. Methinks this was done by a Stowford operative, with the owner watching the back of the van and failing to shout stop!! I think it looked like a very new van.
was tis it?
mel

That is the one. Thanks for clearing that up as I thought 2 caravans were involved.

Others, like mel are totally confused, and should not be allowed out without supervision. I had booked until Monday! How I manage to hold down a responsible job eludes me.

I'm all for educational trips! However, as my son goes to the school where I work, I might get found out. The other alternative is to bring along a class of 8 year olds... now that WOULD be educational!!!
I'm afraid I'll have to pass on this one, thanks all the same. :(

Hi Bill. Welcome to the woosie thread. King gagakev will be along to knight you in due course. You may wish to think about a courtly name, or keep it to Sir Bill.

Hi Bill, now I dont know which was the funniest "Woosie" thing you have done was it the grandchild thing or was it posting in the wrong topic
smiling_e0.gif

On the above basis I am prepared to accept you into the Woosie club, you will have to wait a short while to be seconded by a fellow member,
Two rules you will have to adhere to are;
1)You will have the opportunity to select your own "Title" ie, Sir Bill or something that appeals to you.
2) When you have chosen your title you will have to add it to your signature box in Pink.
Good luck.

Hi you woosies, I've had my 'van for around 4 years (ish) now and have never entertained the idea of joining this rather exclusive gathering as every site we have ever graced with our presence has had the new fangled device called electric hook up, we have made use of this wondrous thing which has enabled she who must be obeyed to make use of such things as plastic tools that dry her hair quickly and others that curl her hair in the manner she so desires, however by sheer misfortune and by not being of an age where I care to read the small print we have inadverdantly booked to go to the CC national rally at Belvoir Caste ( I'm told this is pronounced "beever castle?) we found out after booking that there is no "electricity" which for me isnt a problem but I now find there are no showers or toilets !!!!! So firstly where can I acquire the neccesary stick which will facilitate the emptying of the cassette as I have looked online and googled such items as sh*t stick with no results, secondly if I am fortunate enough to survive the 4.5 days of wild caravanning without what I currently think of as essential items of survival, and then choose,( though it seems at this point somewhat unlikely) to go go through this ordeal again, will I then be eligible to join this rather exclusive club called the woosies?

I think the very facts that you are horrified at the idea of using a stick to facilitate emptying the nuber 2s and in all your years of Caravanning you have never done so before, immediatly qualifies you for Woosie membership!!
BTW have no idea what stick you are looking for, we have never used one! Just shake (gently; don't want it on your feet) as you pour.

hi, I agree Lady Mel, sounds like a perfect candidate to me,
ps, I think the stick refered to is the one that chops up the solid bits, when you have been Woosie enough to use the wrong ammount of fluid or "been 10 mins" before the loo needs emptying.
you propose Beehpee, and I will second, then it's over to the King for Knighting.

I propose that Beehpee become a Knight of the Woosie round table. He has admitted to booking a site without checking that first it had electric hookup and a toilet block. Providing he either holds it in or gets the other half to do the emptying he will qualify to be be a Woosie. It will be realy good if anouther Knight or Lady will second him as i for one would love to know more about this stick.
He could become known as Sir 4.5 days.
