Getting ready for a few weeks in Cornwall. The roof is filthy,.Looks like a day up on the ladders!

Rivenlot is marked on the calendar. Hopefully we have many more trips to do before October.

Have I put you all off Rivenlot

Not at all, I've been before and knew about the hard ground. A holiday is what you make it. Good company and suitable refreshments (Sir Aleman is currently sampling all the products of the local micro brewery to make sure he brings the best stuff), sweep away all other considerations. I'm loking forward to it.

Hi to all fellow Woosies
Hope everybody is well, or well on the way to recovery
smiley-smile.gif

We survived our week (2 - 9 June) in CC Much Wenlock without a toilet/shower block. Weather completely dry any sunnyish week.
The van goes in for its first service this week, with a list of warranty issues:
1. The Truma heater trips the circuit breaker after a few minutes on 2KW setting
2. Possible leak on near side wheel arch when travelling in rain
3. Bathroom sliding door lower runner falling off
4. Sharp burrs (finger-cutting variety
smiley-yell.gif
) on shower waste outlet
5. Shower head difficult to move up & down on shower riser bar
6. Decorative rubber o-ring on shower door handle perished

I have already fixed:
1. Alignment of kitchen overhead cupboard doors
2. Pulling out of toilet cassette door lock assembly

Other things already sorted out by fitters:
1. Manual disengagement of autoengage mover
2. Excessively fierce spring on Heki rooflight sun blind

Our next confirmed trips are a CL in north Bristol (Aust) next month and the Woosiefest in October, but we hope to fit in a couple more trips in between.
Have a good summer and happy vanning to all

Hi Woosies
Look who I've dragged up.

"Morning LB Your Lordship. I wondered where you had sneaked off to? I've found another little gemstone in Cornwall, near Wadebridge.
Yep, lost my password for the other forum but I didn't bother getting another because the site had gone dead  pity really.

When I saw your meet near us at Poston Mill I was planning to visit but circumstances changed that.

Actually we should be at the site in Cornwall now but because my wife has been ill since last September friends took over the booking for us. They had already been before on our recommendation and iked it so no problem there. Infact they booked an extra week making three in all.

To be honest I'm not that keen on the north Cornish coast around Padstow, we prefer it further down where more places are within distance

Regards to Head Woosie Kev and take care.
"
Good to see LB is still alive but her Ladyship doesn't sound too good.

I wonder if you would ask him to Rivalot if we have a spare place?

Since in another thread on here where it was mentioned LB was on another forum I have been "spying" on him a couple of times and it has got to be said he is still a "fruit cake",

Do hope her Ladyship recovers and soon
Pity he couldnt make Poston but let it be known if he is around Rivenlot and he is reading this
"You would both be made very welcome".
Dusty if you are in contact with him thank him for remembering me and give him my regards.

Wow it's getting ever nearer
smiley-smile.gif

Will soon need to decide on our next Royal King / Queen
How will it be decided?
A ballot on the night?
A Secret ballot to a specific email , I have set up an Woosie club email just in case
smiley-smile.gif

As myself and Sir Dusty are not in the running I would give the password to Sir Dusty so it can be verified and we could announce on the night.
Any other suggestions?????
Only those attending the Woosiefest would be considered.

I

We must ensure this stays fun.
The problem with a ballot type thing is the loser may be upset.

I have two heir apparents in mind.

How about we pick the two.
We can always have a King and a Queen.
Kev email me as my new android doesnt have your address yet

duel to the death?

This new fangled predictive text on my android thingy does seem very good unlike what I've had for the last 15 years. But that's as far as I've got.

We've just arrived back from a very quiet CL at Aust by the old Severn Bridge.

Looking forward to the get-together in October.
