Greetings and Salutations Fellow Woosies,

Lady G & l are back from our wanderings in the North East and Borders and what scenery we encountered. It was a fantastic time marred only by the weather.
Met a few fellow 'vanners and promoted The Forum.

I see there is some sort of menu being put together for the Woosiefest, what nose bag fodder do we need to bring and for how many?
Any advice will be gratefully accepted and Lady G can save her pennies to get it.

Changing the subject, on the way home, saw a big twin axle caravan being towed by a Range Rover, no extended mirrors and doing about 70mph. Some people give us a bad name!

Anyway, best wishes to all,

Sir Brian & Lady G of Stevenage.

Hi Brian
We're back fro. Devon. Tanned and hot but no complaints.
The Jacob's Table is a simple affair which seems to turn into a mega banquet every year.
We try for a varied buffet menu. No rules. We all bring t something trying to avoid duplication.
I'm sure you will think of something.
We are expecting 21 people plus dogs.

Thanks Dusty Dog,

I will ask Lady G to dust off her money off vouchers and scour the reduced sections of our local s/m.

I know she I will provide something. We will post up once she has sorted.

Glad you had good weather, our was somewhat moisture laden.

Aha Mel.
That reminds me to do half plain ribs no sauce. Extra sauce will be available for those who want it.

Talking of cakes and calories the time has come to start sorting out who brings what to the Jacobs Table at the Woosiefest in September. So far the following has been agreed:

Sir DustyDog - spare ribs

Sir Gagakev - will do the sandwiches again along with the tit bits of cheese + pineapple etc. Will also again source the paper plates, cutlery, napkins etc.

King WC - Pork pies and welsh cakes

Any other offers?

PS - drinks only available from the bar as we get the room free in exchange.

Having yesterday received a confirmation of booking mail from the site, I will bring along some veggie refreshments for your feast, and some cakes, or something similar.

Hi CyberCynth,

Lady G and myself are booked in for the Woosiefest in September, I paid my deposit but have been informed nightly rates are £25 per night. Saw a general posting a while ago that said Woosies get a discount.
Any ideas please. We will be going irrespective of cost.

Also re' supplying of sustenance for the big event, on what night is it held, as Lady G needs to allow room in the fridge for our contribution.

Kind Regards,

Sir Brian of Stevenage. B)

Sir Brian, did you tell them you were with the Woosie Club when you booked? If not get on the dog and bone (Or you could use that new email thing) and explain yourself proper.
The festivities normally happen on the Saturday evening, but if the weather is nice (ha Ha) we might have a little get together in the afternoon as well.

I would like to nominate Mrs Sproket for membership of the woosie club, as she is now fully trained ( it took a while  ) in using and emptying and bringing all of the parts back of the said woosie pot. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I am really jealous how on earth did you manage to get Mrs Mickey to empty the pot?
I mean Ladygaga wouldnt even know how to open the trap door with the key.

Strangely, my 11yr old son keeps offering to empty the honeypot instead of doing the washing up...I must get Sir Fixalot to train him up as I'm sure he won't offer twice!! :woohoo:

Quite easy,..... only took about five years of suggesting that it was her turn ....
And the possibility that we might put it on a pitch next year so that we get more use out of it, so training comenced
We did a risk assessment and pointed out what can go wrong if the correct procedure is not followed

The fact Mrs Sproket uses Marigolds does not prevent me seconding she is made a fully flushed Lady of The Woosie Round Table.

Does this mean a precedence has to be set and call her Lady Lady Mick? ;)
