Now either my maths are getting worse
but there are three weeks in June for £110 for seven nights.
But there again not every Woosie can commit themselves for the whole week, some might only want
Mon to Fri for £64 ( four nights ).......... or
Just £40 for the weekend due to work commitments,
But Mon to Fri @ Ross park tariffs is £82 ( four nights ) ........
Nothing has been finalised yet as to where or when we are going the jury is still out

Hi Sir WC in an earlier post I expressed the dates starting week commencing the 25/05/13
So far we have the following possibles
King Gagakev
Sir Dustydog
Sir Sprocket (from 28/05/13)
Lightpole man
Lady Mel (if she can wiggle it)
Lady Di Di
Sir WC
Think the problem we are encountering at the moment is that it is half term for the schools and as you know supply and demand UPS the PRICES
As this will be one, of the two main weeks hols for us we want to take the grandson as we are looking forward to a "long distance hike" but I realise it may not be cost effective for others, They rip me off in August as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first time we have come across a site that charges peak rates on weekends in a non peak time period. Ross Park charge £130 per week for a fully serviced premium pitch in June which is why we think that Beech Croft Farm are really taking the mickey!

That was my impression too, - when you look at their first picture in their gallery and it shows a dog running loose. Hardly a good recommendation!
Then following up on Sprokets links - not for me either thanks, very public and I suspect insecure . Electrics would certainly be "interesting" for a 'few' vans'.

You are paying the £2 for the use of facility and not for consumption. Many sites do it this way. I did mention "not so posh" which is why I thought it would suit Sprocket.

We've braved the storms and floods of Devon and survived the tropical temperatures at the Maters bungalow. 86degs yesterday! No wonder she always has a dry cough.
May I wish all our Woosies a very happy and successful caravanning 2013.
I can't wait for the next Woosie meet up. I know we were looking at sites before Christmas. We are happy to do the Peak district. Buxton etc is lovely.
I've been swotting up over the holiday and see there are a couple of good sites on the Scottish West Coast, Gairloch and Achiltibuie by the Summer Isles north of Ullapool. And It's next door to an excellent food and drink establishment ( licks his lips). A bit further north is Scourie. Looks like a good trip to me. Achiltiebuie opened last year.

Dont mind the peak District but the Scotland ones are a bit too far for us 681 miles there and 681 miles back
and 11 to 12 hours + breaks each way travel time.
To justify that one it would have to be a two week holiday with stop-over on route which we are unable to do at this time. Sorry.
