We're looking forward to arriving at Anita's on Wednesday, but as yet the trip may be in doubt. πŸ™
The Pajero has developed an electrical fault which has left me with no sidelights and no caravan running lights although the car headlights, plus the brake lights and indicators still work on both the caravan and the Paj.

I had a look and couldn't readily trace the fault and neither could the local garage where my cars are MOT'd. It's probably an earthing fault somewhere.
The Trundle Truck is booked into an auto electricians on Monday morning, he is very busy and only fitted the car in as a favour because I've used him before for my Peugot, so I'm pinning my hopes on him
No lights = no Woosiefest for us 😱hmy:

Oh dear Parksy 😱hmy:
If your dash lights have also stopped working it sounds more like a relay problem rather than a bad earth ... due to your other lights still working ....

Last time Steve it was your Nordelectronica thing. πŸ™
I suspect the switch. Have you tested to see if power is going to main light switch and out when turned on?
We're seting off on monday. All loaded bar some grub and a few bottles of this and that.
See you all soon πŸ™‚

I've been a bit busy at home recently so haven't got time to investigate the fault properly.
The auto electrician mentioned that there might be problems with the switch stalk, that's a worst case scenario really because I'd have to get hold of a replacement very quickly and the Paj is old.
He seemed familiar with Pajero problems, there are so many electrical items to go wrong that it makes more sense for me to shell out the 50 quid or so to get it sorted properly in a short space of time.
I hope to be there by Wednesday afternoon, fingers crossed πŸ™‚

Goo luck with that! We are also experiencing problems! I emailed to say we would need to bring the extra car as Mat is working late to cover, so I'm coming alone with the kids earlier. They apparently have no knowledge of my booking. I know they originally gave us the wrong date and I rang and corrected it, plus paid my Β£5 deposit.
So now I'm waiting for a reply to my perplexed email!!

We've never received a receipt for our Β£5 deposit by cheque nor confirmation of booking. The cheque however has been cashed.

When I rang to see if it was OK to slip the arrival of our 4 day stay by one day they seemed very nonchalant and not too sure what I was on about. πŸ™ DD, our vanguard, can sort it all out tomorrow. πŸ˜‰ We are now arriving Friday.

Relax my Woosies.
I was there a few weeks ago and we ALL have a pitch with loads of room. The on site boss confirmed it as did the love on site warden Zoe.
We're heading off tomorrow so if anyone has any issues let me know when you arrive. It's not as if people are fighting for pitches this time of year :cheer:

Hi. I am afraid that Sir Aleman and I will not be able to attend the Woosiefest this year. Some tricky ( but not life threatening, and now improving) circumstances prevent us. I have been in touch with Sirs DD, Gagakev, and WC. I wish you all the very best time and we should be with you for the next one. Remember to quaff and be merry.
Very best wishes
Mel

Sorry you won't be with us Mel, the guided tours of the new caravan are off then. πŸ˜›
We haven't had any sort of communication from Anita's either but provided that the Paj is fixed we'll be along on Wednesday and am confident that there will be pitches available.
First the mystery crossword helper in the pub at Wheatalot and now Zoe  the love on first site. :silly:
What sort of aftershave are you using DD? πŸ˜—

I reckon it's his devastating good looks, coupled with sparkling wit and repartee.
Either that or he tells them he's a national lottery jackpot winner

It gets worse.
I think Anita is a bloke :woohoo:

Plenty of this :silly: :silly:
At Β£6.60 it's cheaper than Old Mice.

Ladyboy Sir Gabs?? I daren't look. I'll wait until you arrive πŸ˜›

I'm pleased to say that my Pajero is now sorted, it appears that some water found it's way to wiring behind one of the fuse boxes and caused a short circuit which damaged the wiring.
I'll be there on Wednesday all being well :cheer:

The auto electrician found it after the local garage who service it gave up. I doubt if I'd have found it myself so it was worth the Β£60 labour charge to get the old Trundle Truck back on the road.

Safely pitched at Anita's. Do not arrive during lunch time. No one else here. Had to go to Zoe's caravan to enter the site. The Owners left no details of my arrival or booking  Zoe didn't have the computer passwords so was "working blind".
Site very clean and grass dry with plenty of room on each pitch.
Lots of trees which resulted in a few hours of moving the sat dish before the Sky would work.
Bring your ear defenders. The road is right next door and is bloody noisy. But never mind that will not interfere with the Woosiefest.
Have a safe journey . See you all soon.

Today and tomorrow 1 -2 pm.
The Boss returns Wednesday so should be open all day.
Also most touring pitches are vacant including a number of hardstandings.
You DO NOT have to go on the Rally field if you don't want to.
