yorkshire any recommendations

Jo-anne,

CC West Ayton is good though the hard-standing pitches are accessed over grass. We really like CC Beechwood Grange on the NE edge of York outer ring-road as well. Jasmine Park is okay, very "green" as it's a David Bellamy site. CCC Sheriff Hutton is also good, but not as well thought- out as the CC sites.

Hi

We used to live in Yorkshire cc Beechwood Grange was a regular site for us for weekends. Convenient for the ring road and a short drive from park and ride into York. We stopped at cc Rowntree once, convenient for walking into York but we preferred Beechwood Grange.

Jo-anne, no I've not been to either site. I use CLs as far off the beaten track as possible, but haven't been to Yorkshire for many years now, hence my comment.

JO-Anne try the site at Hawes its north end of Yorkshire a good bit out of the way but a great site for walking and Hawes is a gert village not to big about 3/4 pubs and a small spar supermarket have used site 3times my brother uses it a lot and have had no problems thats where they make Wensleydale cheese

hope this helps
