Does this mean that if you have the 2 - 7 pin sockets on your vehicle and you buy a new van with a single 13 pin plug you can then rewire both cables into the new 13 pin socket? It sounds easy but is it? CliveS

Befre starting any journey I rub the tow ball with Scotchbrite, a light abrasive pad,and then clean the ball with a solvent such as brake dust remover and also clean the pads on the Alko hitch. This works for me. Clive S
