Forgive me if I am wrong but all this talk of LCD t.v is it not better to go for LED t.v don't they use a fraction of the power to LCD. ?????

I have an abbey freestyle 540 (2006) have just returned from a long weekend away, on mains with charger on, showing 14+v no probs for a couple of days then noticed the meter was only showing 12.3v and would dip with usage, switched illuminated charger switch off, no change, then back on again...

mine are also Surface Mounted Diod led's with the certs below manufactured to TUV Cert ISO-9001, and to CE & RoHS standards.

there is also one light in the roof above lounge although a bit further way from radio it is on its own not on the dimmer but the wires from that run in the same area as the other three and this also has a minor efect on the sound, my theory is the further away the light is the less effect on...

i have recently changed all my lightbulbs in my van to led's and am pretty amazed with the results, now if i was to turn all 13 lights on i am using a little less power than i was if i had just 2 of my old lights on also they are just luke warm as against untouchable hot as they were, really...
