    seadown holiday park, charmouth, dorset

This is a nice site. Not much there but the facilities are good and it has a small shop. Yes, it has a lot of statics but they are seperate and it doesn't spoil the feel of the place. The market mentioned is not in an adjoining field it's a short walk away and worth a visit, I believe its...

    paris

Agree with Alan, there a few years ago. Good bus service runs from 8.30am until 1am. Cheaper to buy family tickets so work out how many journeys you will do and then buy them in lots of 4 at a family rate.

    Naburn Loch

Stayed at this site a couple of years ago just after the new owners had taken it over. It seems to me that the old owners just took everything out and put very little back, no investment at all. The new owners are very nice people and had really big ideas on what they wanted to do. Will go...

driving to eurodisney..what do we need.??

I think you've mentioned most. You will also need a first Aid Kit, a set of spare bulbs, I think these are laws in France. It also doesn't hurt to carry reflective vests and of course the most important thing, money. Mike

    advice....please

The first time we went to France I booked through the CC. Since then I've always booked directly myself. My sister swears by booking the all in version with the C & CC. It would be worth checking both. The advantage of booking yourself direct is the sites. If you book through either of...

    Brittany Discounts (Owners abroad)

Its not as easy as it seems to become a member now. You do need a utillity bill and in some cases I've heard they ask for other proof. I have a friend who tried to join and was turned down because he didn't have the proof they wanted. Mike

    Caravan Club

Club sites are great, you get the same standard no matter where you go and you don't have to pay extra for awnings and pup tents and a levy for bank holidays etc. Mike

Any one been to Le Domaine des Ormes, France

You will find that on most sites in France teenagers have meeting places and make their own fun. The most popular is the tables tennis areas or football fields. They meet up make friends and become pains, why ? because you can nevr find them to do what you want to do, like go out site seeing...

Bit of advice re booking and sites in south west

Hi Tracy....like you we tried Dover Calais last year, like you we won't do it again until we have forgotten what it was like last year. We've always used Britany Ferries and book direct. The crossing we've liked the best is the Portsmouth to St Malo, most relaxing and you can say your holiday...

    le pin parasol

Hi judy....Les Dunes is a beach about 20 to 30 mins drive from Pin Parasol. You would have to turn left from your site then left again at the tee junc, get to the main road and turn right towards Bretignolles-sur-mer, once here follow signs for Brem sur mer then Les Sables d'Olonne, its a...

Know this site well but have never stayed there, although my sister has. Its a nice site over looking a lake and quite high up, don't let this put you off. Last time I was there (visiting my sister) it was quite open with out much shade. It has a nice bar and swimming pool. There are some...
