Fair comment. I have had the battery gave to me by a family member and is brand new. Amazon selling exactly same battery for £299. Maybe at a later date I would perhaps go down the off grid route any suggestions for what I will need would be appreciated
Initially I’d suggest not so much what you will need but more-so what your own requirements are.

People forget that caravans are actually designed to be used off grid. Most heating and fridges are multi fuel use. The battery just working the lights , the odd electrical pump, toilet etc. Most modern caravans come with a solar panel.

What do you have in mind?
