That's one of my conditions too, Brian has to be de-thonged for the duration, but I'm not holding him down to verify it!

You are right ,the thong stays at home. Due to excess weight last Easter it did rather upset the balance of my outfit ;O)

Riverside looks good. Lol it amazes me sometimes how people on this Forum are prepared to sacrifice so much for their fellow caravanner,(wipes cyber tear from eye) ;O)
Eh? Oh, right, it's the least I could do for everyone. I'm also prepared to act as chief food and wine taster and senior advisor for erection of party tents (strictly none participant)while on site.

We all have to do our "bit" so others may enjoy.

Can we count on you for something, Brian?

I'm ok with stopping at Riverside. I would prefer a pitch by the river though. The only comment I would make is that from the photos, it does look like the pitches are very tight.

Could we enquire about the spacing between units?

Townsend Caravan Park near Leominster is brilliant with all pitches being serviced. As a group they may do it for

May I refer you to my previous posts on this thread I have stayed here ( Riverside)several times and the pitches are not tight but appear so because of the camera lens used, they have to comply with space regulations so no need to worry.

Well if I went Riverside sounds ok. A free taxi to the pub sounds great and the free fishing - oops wait, no fishing at Easter cos its out of season :O( The only prob, apart from if the wifes working, is I'm not into greenlaning or fancy dress. I didn't want to be a spoilsport. The reason I don't like fancy dress is since I was arrested wearing my patent red stilletoes, red lippy and pink thong, it brings back memories. Ummmm no Lisa :OP I never used my wife as an excuse last year, we had already booked at Slimbridge to meet my wifes cousin but in the end they couldnt make it. We still went though as can be verified by Ray C ;O) It all depends on if they have clinics at the hospital where she works. Hopefully it will be ok.

If you ask nicely I think Sparkes ( Steve) lives by Stratford so could give an inspection of pitch sizes and maybe investigate a deal with Margaret on block booking.Island Meadow is very much in the middle of nowhere and I wouldnt think suitable,Dodwell I know well and is by where Sparkes keeps his van is small and equally middle of nowhere .

Good Idea

I will try to get down there soon to check it out. Will be next week at the earliest as Tobey has to have an op tomorrow to fix his leg

Steve

PS, we have stayed there on the rally field and the pitches did not seem close. But, with my memory, I will recheck

Hi Steve

Hope Tobey's op goes ok and he's soon on the road to recovery.

Thanks for popping over to the site, it does look nice. Put the charm on with the lady in the office and try and get a good deal.

Now Lol

You know my place of work cannot operate without me.

'Motorhomers' why do you ask? I would have thought we wouldn't want 'those sort' in our party. Snobbery on site and all that....

Have we decided where we are going at Easter for the rally?

I am in Stratford upon Avon next week for two days with work, and was going to look at the Riverside campsite, is this still the favourite?
