I have stayed at the riverside in stratford many times ,and the pitches are no smaller than the majority of commercial sites ,and as its only a mile from Stratford i normally walk into town ,and get a taxi back

sue bot I know the site you mean but it is a bit remote for the sort of gathering being planned but whichever site is chosen it needs booking soon as it may sound silly but Easter is alwats very very busy and sites like those mentioned will fill quickly.

We were not too impressed with Yew Tree farm as the ablutions block was the pits. However nice location but hell to get out of it with a caravan.

Hi everyone I called in today in today in what I thought was Riverside, only to be told it was their sister site and that Riversite was closed.

I explained that we were thinking of coming along to stay at the site in a Rally ( No names mentioned) she said that they did except Rallies and that there were two field allocated to them which she should me on a map of the site.

Does this mean we can choose the distance within reason between our vans?

She said that I could walk down through the static caravans and over the bridge if I wished to take a look, but I was quite happy with the location of the site from the town.

I travelled from South Wales M4 > M5 > Exit juntion 9 to Evesham and then on to Stratford excellant roads.

Picked up 2006 price list and 3 nights on serviced pitch on a Bank Holiday cost

Hi Allyson, for some reason last year we were not allowed to call ourselves a rally, some legal implication which I'm sure someone will fill us in on.I hope we can decide soon on a site soon as it would be nice to get a booking based on what we want rather than what we can get.

Hi Brian

It would be nice to have something to look forward too. Last holiday was the first two weeks of August.

It will also be good to meet members of the forum, looks like most of you have met up before.

Yes it is nice to plan ahead. Most of us met at the last meet and I think some have met again since. As we are just north of London it's a bit of a hike "up north" for short breaks and of course the others avoid coming down here for fear of sunstoke ;O)

That's a shame Steve, let's hope you find the time to attend. At the moment I've been told I can't have the time off so I might have a bit of a cough at the meet ;O)

I have no idea what is involved to organise these things so if someone could fill us in we can work out how we are going to do it.

Steve, it's is such a shame that you are unable to organise what seems to be a fun event and would have been my first forum event.

If you can give a in sight on what is needed to book this event and what goes on i am sure someone would come to the rescue and book this event.

As Brian said it is better to book something we like rather than what is left.

Riverside seems to be the favourite at the moment, can we confirm this is the site for the 2007 Forum Users Easter Meet.

Anyone interested in attending please post ASAP as once we have the final numbers a booking can be made.

Allyson, if you can find out the rates for Easter attending as a group that would be very helpful.

May I suggest that once we have the final list the site could have a copy and each member could pay them direct by a certain date. (if the site will allow this of course)

As for organising what we do, I'm sure there will be lots of suggestions.

Steve I'm sure you could find time for some greenlaning .How about it ?

COME ON FOLKS....It's your chance to attend the best Forum event since the last one.

Hi Brian

I will email the site for a price, please can you let us know how many are interested in this site, not sure if they are negotiable for discount, can someone confirm the dates ASAP, because the Welsh School holidays are different to the english school holidays.

Also please can the Modifier confirm can we book in as the practical caravan forum?

Regards

I have just requested prices for Good Friday until the Monday, hope these are the correct dates? If you would like different dates please let me know.

Do not feel that I have taken over, because I would not like to tred on anybodies toes, and at any time someone one like to take over feel free. I am only getting the ball rolling.

Or if anyone cares to give a hand please feel free.

Regards

Allyson

Hope you can make it to the meet, Steve. Lord knows what we will do if someone breaks a spring on their Ford again!

Up to now, two sites have been mentioned, do we want a final vote on this with say, next Saturday as the closing date for the decision? I would be happy to attend both (providing there isn't a fuel shortage) but at least we could put it to bed and move on with the planning. So is it Sherwood or Riverside?

Steve, could we have the list of those that have shown an interest in attending? Lisa, could you go through any details of the first meet that we need to sort out for this one?

Can I have a pitch that has a deep recess in it , so we're not looking down on you tug'ers? These questions and more answered at the meet....

Must remember to remove my hub caps again.

Lol, I fear your big shiny wheel trims may just be TOO tempting to some ,no names mentioned. Big Roy ,are you out there we need your input as you were so involved with the last one.

Yes lets set a time on choosing the site. I don't know either so will have a look at their websites.

Lisa ,do you know what your shifts are yet or do you want ,me to write you a note ;O)

We are a bit thin on the ground at the moment so need more members to attend, it doesn't matter if you are an enthusiastic amateur or a seasoned old pro come and join in the fun.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity (unless you attended the last one or are thinking of attending 2008's) so don't miss out.

JOIN US FOR THE 2ND "PC FORUM USERS EASTER MEET"

(and see if Lol really has got a monster) ;O)
