Do all new caravans have battery as standard

I'm confused with some of the catalogues, should have asked at dealers. Does the price of a new van include a battery on all makes of caravan?

I was under the impression that no new caravan came with a battery, but I am willing to be corrected..................

no you do not get a Battery with a new van, unless you get a deal when you buy your van

I do find it odd or perhaps perverse that you spend let's say £15k on a new van and you have to fork out for a battery as well.
The same with new cars - say £20 k then £300 for metallic paint !!

The jack that did come with our Senator was as useless as a chocolate teapot. It wouldn't even lift a fly.

New and second hand caravans come with no extras, but the water pump and the leg winder are included in the purchase. sometimes the spare wheel is standard. No gas bottles either.
In some countries when you buy a caravan, it comes ready to use including cultery, crockery and awning! You cna go camping straight away with no additional purchase which si the way it should be. Some will say they prefer their own choice, but yu cna always change thsi other at a later stage. Obviously you get a choice in design and colour of the various added in items, but from the same manufacturer.

Classic case of marketing,why provide something for free when you know people have to have said items so they will buy them.
Also a fair amount of people already are caravanners so will have items like batteries so wouldnt want a new one and would then complain that it is something they do not want.

I read this yesterday, just bought first brand new caravan, always bought used before, we ordered a Sterling Elite Searcher at manchester show and checked today, no battery included in price, "but you can keep your old one", gee thanks!!
Get new van in March, cant wait!!

With a new caravan you normally get an ehu lead, plastic step and a small waste water container plus a water pump filling hose.
Enjoy your new caravan!

I think you only get the waste container if you have an on board water tank?
