As per forum etiquette, here we go.

Hi.

We always said never. We joined in with Clarkson, May and Hammond as they slated caravans. We had a tent. Proper camping. Then we had an insane dog and a slightly less insane baby and we found that camping was a bit of a hassle (to be fair we never tried it with the dog and certainly never with the baby) and after a year of going stir crazy without our great outdoors weekends away, we decided that we would buy a bongo. Only we didn't. We traded our two motorcars for one big Vectra and a 2003 Pageant Vendee with a fixed bed big enough for three. And that was that. WE've done three weekends away so far. We've been snug in the snow on a CS and baked in some unseasonable warmth in our lightweight awning on a C&CC site. No its not the same as camping, but you wouldn;t catch me tenting it in February. Early May was cold enough thank you. Great manoeuvre. (although we still maintain its not proper camping!) Anyway, that's us. Nice to meet you all
