Land Rover Discovery Extension Mirrors

My brother finds it difficult to use the towing mirror fitted to his nearside wing mirror on his Discovery, as it seems to far around to his left. He has been looking for the old type of towing mirror that used to fit above the wheel arch and under the bonnet lid. He has been unable to locate one. Does anybody know if they are still available and where or perhaps another solution?

What model Disco has he got & what sort of mirrors is he using..?

We have some milenco grand aeros, on the wifes ( Disco 1 ) i mount them on the bottom of the door mirror & on my (Isuzu )i mount them on the top, my van is 7'6" wide & we dont have a problem on either tug....

Hello JSG

I have a pair of mirrors that fit between the wheel arch and the bonnet. The problem in my vehicle (a Honda CRV) seems to be to be that the offside door pillar restricts the view through the mirror and so I don't use them. I usually use the Milenco mirrors which fit on my existing wing mirrors.
