From the way this topic is going there seems to be a "name and shame" theme going on for Tesco, Asda and Morrisons to a greater or lesser extent. In Bridgend we only have a Sainsburys and two Tescos so there is very little competition. There is an Aldi and a Lidl but both are small and have limited choice of stock compared to the big boys. We did have a Kwiksave but that went - there was very good value for money at this store - piled it high in the boxes and sold it cheap. Before long Asda will be opening so we will wait and see how this will affect Tesco as it will be in between their two stores. Might then have a decent bit of competition and a reduction in the cost of living.
