PDQ awnings Dorema or another

We are looking at getting one of these porch awnings such as the Dorema Magnum 390 ~£280 from towsure and others, Similar awnings can be found on Ebay for ~£140, has anyone bought one of these cheaper awnings?, is there a good reason that the Dorema awning is twice the price?.

Hi garfeild, as with every thing in life you get what you pay for,
A quick glance at the Dorema states a waterproof rating as 4000mm
The cheaper ones on flea bay are stating 2000mm so would think the material is thinner.
sorry I dont have any experience with the one's you are looking at but experience tells me that the lightweight ones even the 4000mm need ventilation at all times to conquer condensation, it now works for us,

Another thing to take into consideration with the lightweight ones is the extra's available, on our's we have the storm strap's, monsoon poles and the rear upright poles and use them all every time even in summer.
