We brought the item above thought these would be okay but still having doubts i am going to fall I fairly tall 6ft 5ins
Can you suggest some that are sturdy and good weight for rough ground

BB...My cousin had the same style of steps for his caravan,(seasonally sited ) I have used it several times in the past and along with my cousin who's partly disabled haven't had any problems,I to am also 6'5""

You can get two hand rail caravan steps. Alternatively you could have a “folding” handrail fitted to the caravan on the other side to your step handrail.

We bought one of those steps with the handle , but the are very low and tend to sink into rough ground, at least you can move the hand hold to either side depending on your door.
Why not get a paving slab to put in front of the entry door then it is level, and raises the step up by 1 1/2 inches.
