BB...My cousin had the same style of steps for his caravan,(seasonally sited ) I have used it several times in the past and along with my cousin who's partly disabled haven't had any problems,I to am also 6'5""

You can get two hand rail caravan steps. Alternatively you could have a “folding” handrail fitted to the caravan on the other side to your step handrail.

Hi clive that a good idea having a folding handrail to the caravan thanks for your input 🙏

We bought one of those steps with the handle , but the are very low and tend to sink into rough ground, at least you can move the hand hold to either side depending on your door.
Why not get a paving slab to put in front of the entry door then it is level, and raises the step up by 1 1/2 inches.

Be easier for a seasonal site to take the wheels off of the caravan, or drop them into a gouged out area.

Send them back BB before you break your neck. The tiny feet will sink and as you "lean" on the left rail I can see a lot more weight put on the left feet and over you go.

Plus one for Clive's suggestion . Rail(s) on caravan.

Those are terrible on soft ground as the feet tend to dig in one side or the other. Found that out the hard way. You need one with the bar around the feet as that stops it sinking into the ground.

Or use something like solid coasters under each leg to prevent them sinking
