In my experience the price of single services is higher than multi-year service plans and dealer prices are higher than manufacturers plans. I was merely commenting on the big disparity between the price I paid for recent services compared to some of the figures quoted in this thread. So you are not comparing like with like. The Toyota service prices in my post were current prices for single services. So what is the VW equivalent for your car at today’s prices?
Perhaps you could provide the current dealerships prices for servicing a Passat PHEV estate compared to a ID7 Tourer 2WD.
Most modern IC cars need servicing every 2 years, with an optional engine oil change in between - since EVs don't have engine oil they should only need servicing every two years but this doesn't seem to be the case.
