Well done Sir kev on organising a Woosie meet. Please bring the Mod and his illuminated flagpole; if we all pack an extra bottle of booze each we should be alright.

Thank you, we'd love to come to wherever the next woosie meet is being held and of course we'll bring the electric flagpole to help those of us who imbibe to find our way back to the Woosie enclave at night.
smiley-smile.gif

I'll have to get hold of a Woosie round table flag to fly from the pole, the booze shouldn't present too much of a problem if we take our own supplies.

Hi DD
The sites that I tend to use in the Midlands are more often than not either C&CC rally sites, mostly without ehu, or C&CC certified sites.
None of the sites that I know really well in the Midlands would suit our purposes because they are either limited to 5 vans or requiring C&CC membership.
I've had a quick look for a site that would be ok for the majority of us, fairly central, not too far from the motorway network, children welcome, dog walk, toilets for the Woosies, ehu and shower and with licensed premises and food not too far away, and so far I came up with
Eriba Glade Touring Site, Stretton-on-Dunsmore Near Rugby.
I've never actually stayed there but it's no trouble for me to have a ride over for a look (and perhaps negotiate on price
smiley-wink.gif
) in the next couple of weeks or I can look somewhere else if there are any internet horror stories about Eriba Glade that I don't yet know about. I haven't seen any reviews yet.
This site is around £14 per night for 2+2 children, including 6 amp ehu, there are plenty of other more luxurious sites in and around the Midlands some of which are around £25-£30 per night which are presumably sites with piped music in the loos, bars, swimming pools, restaurants etc so it depends on what the price/facility concensus amongst those wanting to attend is.

Put the yellow man on Francton lane where the dog leg is to the right, that looks like the enterance .....( you can see two van roofs ) in the main shot. Don't think you will get a satellite signal in there.........

Sir Sproket CJ (Bar)
The first lot of pics were sized manually at 230 x158.
The last one was preset at 1024 x 576.
Do I need something in the middle?
How did I lose all the captions I placed on my photobucket album? Do I have to do them again manually as part of the posting text?

Sorry to be such a plonker but I'm afraid some mothers do have 'em.

Like the look of this one fellow knights, seems fairly central to the responses so far, 148 miles for me, 156 miles from leeds area.
and central to others in between.
Can any one tell me which road I take out of Devon
smiley-laughing.gif
smiley-laughing.gif

There price list though seems to be 2009, if we can get some positive replies I will give them a ring and see if we can negotiate.

Interested fellow Knights so far;
King Dusty
Gagakev
Lady Mel
Sir Sprocket
And of course our guest of honour Lightpole Man

Note to Sir Gab (WC) Joker would you be able to do the weekend of Friday 19th Oct or would it be too much of a push for you?

"Woosie Meet" - can do September, but booked rally for us in Lake District 8th. - 15th. Oct.
Prefer electrics (but would survive without). I reckon 150 miles is enough for us - which will take in the Cotswolds , OK
Meant to add can do other w/e in Oct though.

Ok so as an assumption we will provissionally go for http://www.riverside-park.co.uk/tourers%20and%20tents.htm
Dates of; 19th/20th/21st October 2012
You can choose what ever nights you wish, maybe 2 or 3 or more if you wish, will make contact with site and see what I can come up with, will assume all bookings will be done on an individual basis.
This is fun

You must have finger cramp with all that typing
smiley-laughing.gif
.

Sir Mucky Pup TB is back from the Isle of Wight tomorrow but I am certain you can count him in too.
If Sir Kopite has recovered from losing Kenny Dalglish he may be persuaded to join us
smiley-undecided.gif
.
Later today I shall be practising my pics thanks to Sproket and Parksy and of course you Kev for your excellent lesson for idiots like me.
