I have dusted off my old crown and will forge ahead with the other past Kings and Queen and start our planning for this autumn’s fest.
1. The gathering is fully open to all PCv Forumites and Woosies.

2. Suggested dates, second and /or third week end of September ie 7th or 14th. Can be later if you wish.

3. Geographic Location. All suggestions warmly welcomed. I will happily liaise with my fellow Monarchs on the chosen site .

4. Meanwhile Hutch and Anseo are organising a spring Fest.

Looking forward to hearing from you all :) :)

This depressed geriatric septuagenarian arthritic old codger is also looking forward to some sunshine, and I am definitely planning to be available for 'Woosiefests', will help where we can. Not bothered about location really -- but do enjoy local hostelry availability, so put your choices in the 'pot' and lets select among ourselves, even if it means return visit to somewhere or other. Appreciate we can't suit/please every one on location, (we nearly live in the middle?) Perhaps if we first decide whether it be N S E or W, then do a search in that area. (yer know that if you put into Google maps - caravan sites near wherever you want to look and search, gives a fair few sites to look at in that area.-- if I'm teaching you to suck eggs? Ignore this!). Let's look for a 'good un'.

I’m with Pete on our requirements.
Just a quick look at Ukcampsite using their advanced search engine brought this place up. Never been myself but it gets 9 out of 10. I am sure plenty more suggestions will be forth coming over the next few weeks :cheer:

Most could accept that by turning off their hearing aids :)

Thanks Craig, the site is pretty busy that weekend, hence the weekend after.

I see there are fully servicedsuper pitches for those who want them.

Standard pitch with EHU = £21.00 per night with 2 adults, use of shower facilities etc. dogs are £1.00 each, WiFi is included.

Super fully serviced pitch, as above at £24.00 per night.

I do not know how many Super pitches there are but I have phoned them (answering machine) and will try to find out.
EDIT: Dustydog posted just before me, seems all Super pitches are taken :eek:hmy:

Probably arriving Thursday 25th and departing Tuesday 30th April, but hopeful to extend either side of these dates.

For the Spring meet up I would suggest anyone trying to get a serviced pitch call Thornbrook caravan park on 01524 241432, to see what dates are available.
I Have just checked on line and was able to find a serviced pitch from the Friday for 4 nights.
Hutch.

Would like to join the fest but it’s too close to our planned home move date. Pity as we really like the Ingleton area.

Thanks. We will keep the option open as if things don’t turn out as planned we could be living in the caravan. Albeit within child care distance of SN14:)
