Yes, those were the pictures I had seen. Parksy is right, you need two taps.
By the way this is reply 1900.

Bottled water methinks
smiley-wink.gif

There are Tesco and Co-Op supermarkets in Ludlow so no need to drink the water. I suppose that the 'clean' tap is on the other side of the bollard but I prefer the elsan emptying point to be as far away from the clean water as possible.
I never thought about checking the post number so here's to the next 99 posts (raises mug of tea)

Could be wrong but this looks like a motorhome pluged into the Brown waste point.
If you watch the video you will notice a area over to the right hand side.
I should imagine thats its for all types of waste ??

And the grey water piped to the drain .

Pleased to confirm my £20.00 deposit is on it's way to Wheatalot (
smiley-undecided.gif
).Booked monday 22nd to wednesday 1st October.
Awaiting a reaction from The Three Horseshoes.

I'm pretty certain the Brown waste etc will be fully compliant with the relevant regulations so I see no cause for concern. Just make sure no Woosie dumps the brown waste down the grey waste!
Kev
Will you be wearing your brown trousers??

Looking at the video and stills courtesy of Sir Sproket I think we have found a little gemstone with so much to see and do. We've booked in 8 days

We posted our cheque for the £20 deposit this afternoon, we'll be arriving on Wednesday 24th and leaving the following Monday, five nights. I'd have loved to have stayed longer but Carole and Pickles the cat will miss each other too much
smiley-cry.gif
.
We visited relatives this afternoon who recommended Ye Olde PunchBowl, first licenced as a pub in 1740, on the Ludlow road from Bridgnorth for anyone who enjoys a good carvery, they went there last week.
We often go to a pub restaurant run by the same company next to Yew Tree Farm C&CC certified site and rally venue, Far Forest, Bewdley which is next door to that pub where the carvery is superb and they sell a lovely pint of Ansells Mild, a very palatable easy to drink dark beer.

How about cotswolds or Morton In Marsh if weather looks good?
Hi All
Sorry will not be able to do mid September as we will be in sunny (Hopefully - now thats but the mockers on it!!) Cornwall we always take first two weeks off as we have no kids and tend to let others have the school holidays, however we come back on the 21st, dependant on where you go we may be able to pop up and see you on the Sunday for the day :)
Still looking forward to Stowfalot though and will be great to catch up with everyone again
Di & Andy
Rain in Cornwall first two weeks of Sept, glorious sunshine in Shropshire from the 25th, leave the van packed and come join us

That would be the Plough. We went to the site yesterday only to find it locked up like Fort Knox with a 8 foot fencing around it. It is definitely on sloping ground although I suspect the pitches are level however looking at the pitches are they hard standing tarmac as with our dogs we need to put up a windbreak. I assume that when you wash out the cassette you use the same pipe for the drinking water?
BTW using the satnav it takes you up Clee HIll and as you reach the top, it instructs you to turn right. Although it cuts off a fair bit and is shorter and probably quicker, it is definitely not suitable for caravans. You need to carry on for quite a few miles and then turn right onto the B4364.

Why are people talking about 2 different sites at the same time and confusing the issue???? Parksy was talking about Yew Tree Farm C&CC certified site and rally venue, Far Forest, Bewdley , NOT Wheathill where we are booking in.

Probably because every one was talking about Wheathill and Parksy also mentioned The Plough which is in another location, but on the way there if you feel like a lunch stop over.

Sprocket the only concern is the water to wash the casette afterwards if the brown waste is on pitch. Pitches are lever however we do need to know about windbreask so will be contacting them.

Oh dear. Just tried to log into the site and got this message;Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

The server is temporarily unable to service your
request due to the site owner reaching his/her
bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

I thought they had free wifi and with this being winter and an empty site, I am wondering how they managed to exceed the bandwidth? LOL!

( 509 bandwidth limit exceeded meaning )
The notice means that the bandwidth allowance that your host gives to you on your current plan, has all been used up this month.
If you have recently received a lot of traffic, this may happen.
Looks like its become a popular website...
smiley-wink.gif

The site owners also own Bromdon caravan park & the The Three Horseshoes pub.
If an awning can be put up so can a windbreak IMO.
I don't think the ground will be as hard as the quarry floor was at Rivendale.

I have been a busy little bee today......I have just made two Woosie bookings
smiley-smile.gif

Booked pitch 388 at Stowford arriving Friday May 2nd and leaving Saturday10th
.....pitch 388 is very near the rest of the Woosies who have booked so far so you are now all forewarned
smiley-wink.gif

.........and I have also sent off my £20 deposit for the September Woosiefest at Wheathill Touring Park arriving Thursday 25th September and leaving Monday 29th.

Looking forward to both get togethers........ and to see how Sprocket connects his caravan toilet to the on pitch brown waste sewer at Wheathill........sorry Steve but I have this mental picture of us all gathered around your caravan in wonderment

Wheatalot is barely an hour from your home. There's some excellent walks too
smiley-kiss.gif

Hope you and Andy can make it.

Di. Get a grip! When we were at Rivenlot, it was only an hour from my work and so we arrived on the Monday before and I went to work from there. (As well as nipping home to pick up the large saucepan for the Woosiefest Chilli). So, there is no point putting the van away. Come straight from Cornwall to Wheathill and go to work from there. You know it makes sense.

I mentioned The Plough carvery / restaurantwhich some may have visited already, I have, and because it is owned by the same company that run Ye Olde Punchbowl, not too far from Wheathill which was recommended to me the other day if you'd read what I wrote in my earlier post.
Unfortunatly Surfer answered with the mention of Yew Tree caravan park which is next door to the Plough.

Your most Royal Woosie King WC , Ladies and Knights of the revered Woosie Round Table take heed and listen to this Royal Proclamation.
I have just spoken to the most friendly Sue the Landlady , Proprietor, of The Three Horseshoes Inn at Wheathill next door to Wheatalot.

I am very pleased to advise Sue has confirmed The Woosies may have the full saturday evening use of her private function room free of charge. I have confirmed we will be buying all our imbibements from her establishment but will bring our own food to the tables. She is very happy to welcome us and has put the date in her diary. Looks like another great Woosie Fest is on the horizon.
