I'm afraid we'll have to refretfully bow out of the Woosiefest in Sept:
a) we have children - bit of a no-no on 18+ sites!
b) I work in a school with more kids(!) and my contract doesn't allow time off in term time :(
give it 3 or 4 years till the kids are in their early - mid teens and can be left with friends, and it may be different - till then c'est la vie.

I do hope you all have a brill time; at least we'll catch up with some of you at Stowfalot...'Woosies take over the barn dance?'

Count us in for the date and venue for 4 nights

When kev negotiated Rivenlot it was great to have the core weekend "block booked" but with the flexibility for us to ring the site individually and tack on extra days either side.

.

Thanks King WC for sorting my list.

Crazyguider , we'll catch up with you at Stowfolot. I keep forgetting I'm retired.
smiley-kiss.gif

Deli Dave and Lady Mel I'm happy to do the same organising as our Woosie King did for Stowford or indeed as Kev did for Rivenlot.
We'll definitely have a week there. As Parksy says there is so much to see and do.
As soon as I get a reply from the site I'll post and then talk to the Three Horseshoes about their function room.

That's 9 units so far.
I also realise there are Woosie members not yet mentioned who may wish to join in. Please say so asap if you wish to come. I was thinking of Martin in particular. We can all help him with pitching up etc and a super fully serviced pitch would suit him admirably.

Now the good news .

Lee Partridge of Wheathill Touring Park
Wheathill
Near Bridgnorth
Shropshire
WV16 6QT

has very kindly offered us a Woosie Round Table special price of £20.00 per unit per night instead of their usual £25.00. We all get a super serviced 16 amp pitch with brown and grey waste disposal. King WC and Lady Squirrell will be working overtime to make good use of these facilities
smiley-laughing.gif
.

All you need to do asap is send Lee Partridge a £20.00 deposit advising the dates of your stay and that you are a Knight or Lady of the Woosie Round Table. Cheques I guess should be payable to ?????????? If you are unsure please ring Lee direct on
01584 823456.
I'll now sort out the Three Horseshoes for our Woosie fest.
I'll post later with the payee details. Lee is e-mailing me

At £20 a night we may decide to grace the Woosiefest with our presence if it does not interfere with our royal duties. Only concern is that from Malvern it is all back very bumpy roads to get there.
Also just to clarify, is this site very sloping as checking Earth Google it appears the pitches could be very sloping? Maybe over the weekend we can take a drive up there as it is less than 23 miles from us.

Well done Sir Dustydog
The road to Ludlow from Kidderminster is ok for caravans Surfer if you decide to go that way, there are a few hills and bends but nothing to worry about. I haven't checked the best route to the site with a caravan, I'll have a good look later today but after a quick glance the only slightly tricky part will be the last couple of miles from Ludlow to the site.

Open letter to our noble King , King WC

Your Majesty,
Could I propose a honoury BAR for our stalwart Sir Dusty Dog, he has in my opinion again excelled in his duties towards the Woosie Club, his efforts over the last couple of years has been second to none, his commitment and dedication to the efficient running of our wonderful Woosie Club has been invaluable.
Please consider this as a matter of urgency
Your humble servant

I hope that this 'brown waste disposal point' isn't anywhere close to the tap with the hose on the pitch.
It would encourage people emptying their toilet cassettes to wash them out using the same hose as you could be filling your kettle from
