There was a rumble a while ago about having a jacob's table weather permitting and an evening of merriment as we have done previously ( if it's cold we can adjourn to the pub :woohoo: ) anyway i will get the coronation cake :silly: :kiss: as it will be needed for the forthcoming event 😉

looking at arrival and departure dates guess the Fri Eve wold be the best option but then most are out on the choo choo for the day, gonna be a suck it and see, me thinks.

I would have thought Friday after the train excursion 😉 & as Sir Outnumbered WC (4:1) is only there for the weekend and we are eating in the pub on Saturday 😉

The Wosie fest is fast approaching and I am making a list of things to pack that wouldn't. Normally be in the van:
Woosie t shirt
Banner
Poles
Train tickets
Bottle of whisky for group tasting
Sir Alemans selection of Ales

Then I came to food for Woosie table. I know we have a meal at the Black Bull booked, but there was talk of a group barbecue at some point? Should I consider bringing extra meat and sides?

Funny that Lady Mel I thought about that today as well, but only because I was having a good clear out of the van and came across 3 carrier bags full of paper plates, knives, forks, spoons, cups, bowls, and shot glasses!!!! All accumulated over the years for the Fest 🙂

Oh I do hope we have a BBQ or some kind of Feast .......I need to get rid and lighten the NW 😗 😗

We/us can't really see the necessity for an 'additional' meal, and the work involved, -- but a communal barbecue where you do your own thing, or bring your own picnic tea would better suit us, and still get the communal sense, that way it can be fairly spontaneous depending on weather/forecast, just saying - but will go with majority.

We concur with Gabsgrandad. The 'get-together' is on the Saturday evening, so why introduce another one? We agree that we can still all sit together at another time and eat our own food. 🙂
