Just a short,

Thank you Jean and Pete, you are a lovely couple, the best one(s) could meet with.

Both of you made us very happy πŸ™‚

Last to leave Woosie Thorpe, up to Barnard Castle, wow, A66 was Seriously dodgy. Down to 30 mph from the A1. For the 15 miles, gust the news says upto 70 mph. Calmed down tonight. Off to Bamburgh Castle tomorrow weather permitting. Another good meet up.Thanks all.Hutch and Elaine.

I'm surprised the A66 was open hutch yesterday with the wind !
I rode 5 mile to work & back , wind in my face going there , took 8 minutes though coming back !

Towed home in not bad conditions, never felt the wind! have tried to put more pictures up yesterday but obviously too many for one posting, and wouldn't take them? so i'll put a few up in separate posts.

More Golf Saturday. No wonder you were in the woods at Woosiethorpe collecting stray balls

Really enjoyed the meet at Woosiethorpe..........Thank you everyone πŸ™‚

........the short trip down to Wyton in the windy weather was a doddle as a lot of the A16 route was in a queue of hundreds of vehicles all following a huge agricultural harvester doing 25 mph 😱hmy:

Down In Wylam , near to Newcastle, been upto St Andrews for two nights, Long 155 miles drive over the A68 very tiring 4 1/2 hours. Here for 4 nights Then down to Doncaster. Should be just on 1000 miles since leaving home on the 13th. Be ready for a holiday.

Mablethorpe beach, for the dogs, Bamburgh Castle, for the View. Muir Park for empty Whisky bottles. Thee A 68 for tiring but spectacular areas of maybe getting a puncture. Today at sea View Restaurant, with Elaine's Aunties.unfortunaty BH have shut down Stevensons cottage. So therefore. The Fox and Hounds. Wylam.

If it had given such good service why did you strip it down? Surely it could have been given a new life as a veteran van.

The Chassis looks in very good nick. What's in store for its next life?
Is the old body on a farm as a chicken coup πŸ˜›
I hope Swift send you a long service award :cheer:
