We purchased a Sands back in 2005 from Barons and had it extended by 50cm two years ago to fit our current van. Really pleased with the awning, it has been used heavily over the last five years and still looks as good as new.

Another vote for Milenco, I tried a pair of the suction type when they came out about four years back. The mirror head itself was a lot smaller than Milenco and as has already been said the suction pad obscures vitually all the car mirror.

For us caravanning itself is not a hobby. What it does though is let us enjoy our hobbies which are mountain biking and walking far more than any package holiday.

Its about 15 mile up into Teesdale LB. Plenty of parking and great walking when you get there though. The Penine Way also passes through the area.

We could not get really close on Sunday to have a good look around, but just a quick glance at the back of one of the vans and noticing that they could not even fit the corner steadies level convinced me we will not see many Stealths on the road next year.
