    Formby point is also a nice little camp site 10 mins from southport,all hard standing unless you want to get under the pine trees,right on the sand dunes.oh and did I mention cheap

    I have seen them in wales between £1500 - £2000 , i am sure you can find cheaper ,all depends if you want a campsite or a complex

    The Plassey, Eyton, Wrexham, North Wales

    I stayed at the plassey in feb 2011 ,it is a 5 star site for upkeep & toilet facilities,the park is full of seasonal pitches so looks packed out,there isn't that much space available for everyone else,there is a badmington court outside but under cover in a barn ,as well as table tennis,the pool...

    I have also stayed at Skegness sands & agree with the earlier comments ,the convelesence home takes up all the views from your van,unless you get on the grass pitches on the hill,but then you have to live with kids playgropund 10 feet from your door.we stayed on the hard standing pitches but...

    Shaw Hall between Ormskirk & Southport is a nice site,all pitches are fully serviced and the awning area is astro turf,right on the canal & only 10 mins from Southport

    wirral country park

    been there a few times ,there are a few sea view pitches but the chances of getting on a par with winning the lottery,they are usualy queing up outside to come in from 10am ,hoping to grab the sea view pitches.nice site in a nice area,good walking territory being in the country park

    Marton Mere Haven site near Blackpool

    been there a few times,I like it,try for a fully serviced pitch,not much more than the standard pitches ,save hauling the water carriers around.also the amp is better in the fully serviced,on standard when it is busy the elec trips easily & you have to get warden to switch back on.great doggy...

    1.6 tow cars

    anyone tow with a 1.6 litre reason I am asking is I had a test drive of a car the weekend peogeot 3008 crossover 1,6 diesel,(looks a bit like an SUV) I was originaly going with the idea of the 2 litre version,then he throws weights & measures at me and the 1.6 is well in my zone at a 81% match...

    find a caravan you are interested in & make a note of the name & weight .log into what towcar dot com & outfit match your car against the caravan,need to look for as near to 85% match.works a treat.
