Has anyone heard any juicy inside rumours regardng the next batch of new Swift Caravans?

We are thinking of buying a 2023 model this year, but may just hold off till we see what the NEC has to offer

Couple of questions:

If the NEC is in September for everyone to preview the new 2024 Caravans, is it October when the public can place an order for next year delivery?

lastly, we normally hear rumours on tech and gadget releases, but is there anything on what the new Swift Models will look like? - or is this all kept under wraps till Sep

I think my best bet is to hold off, we are in no rush to buy right now, and we won't be able to Caravan this year anyway due to work etc,

It would be great to at least find out what the new 2024 layouts will be like for Swift.....

Only less than a month to go then before marketing info is released. But these days you seem to get it released a series of teasers. This may help

I was just this second looking at that page :)

But am I right they are just referring to the 2023 models, and it's a typo?

Surely when they announce a new caravan, stating the 'NEW Galloway Soft Furnishing', they can't again in 2024 say the same thing, very odd. Both state the exact same details.

The Nec is usually in October. What was the Lawns show, and has now moved to Harrogate is in generally in September.

Ah ok, so October to wait till then for the new Caravans.

You can buy at the NEC show ( don’t know about Harrogate but assume so as little point otherwise). Lots of reps from dealerships are at the NEC show lurking around the main manufacturers stands and some of the larger dealers like Glossop, Kimberley, Wanderhome have their own stands. Lead time for delivery will vary depending on what you want.
At the shows you are still buying from Dealers, not direct from manufacturers.
Hope this makes sense.
If you are within travelling distance of either show, it makes for a good day out imho.

One year we went to the NEC, and many of the dealers were really wanting to PX our 545 Coachman VIP, three years old for a new caravan, on the way up the next day to do a deal, we went into the dealer near to Banbury, and he gave us £1500 off of the List price , of a 560 VIP and a new Power Touch motor mover.
Be carefull about NEC prices.Better deals are available.

We ordered our 2018 caravan in August 2017 putting down the deposit with a CC. For 2024 models expect an in crease of between £2-3000 or maybe a bit more. Our dealer is 90 miles from our home, but they have a large campsite attached to the dealership so we can ovenight.

Looking at the price increases between 2021 and 23, there is an increase every year of about £3k

Will just have to see what's on offer I suppose and budget accordingly :)

Definitely worth seeing if a dealer can match any deal you can get at the NEC.
If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

Many years ago I bought a new BMW 1200RT (2005) and took one out for a test ride - I loved it and asked if there was any movement on the price - at the time it was a new model so they wouldn’t budge- I asked how much the BMW top box was - circa £350!!!
I said to the salesman that I would buy the bike if they would give me the top box for free but he wasn’t keen so I just told him that I would go elsewhere to buy the bike.
Off he went to “see his manager” and 5 minutes later the deal was done.
That was a fabulous bike as well.

I’ve often wondered exactly what the new models offer? Fridges , cookers ,heating systems all look the same to me. Most of the changes I see are purely cosmetic and do not warrant a substantial price increase.

I agree the changes look mainly cosmetic with odds and ends like a larger sun roof which might attract some. Personally I would check out if the local dealer has a 2023 model at a good discount.

Regarding the Swift 670 SE

Ok this is our dilemna, and why we are in two minds whether to buy this caravan or not.

This is the only thing stopping us, it's either forget about it or lose weight, does anyone else have this issue with these beds?

As you can see, there isn't much room on the double bed, and why they call it a double when it's only 122cm width.... if they had made this just a bit bigger!

Wasn't going to post these pictures, but hey ho!

We have 2 kids, we strictly do not want any more cuddly situations haha

I felt like I would bang my elbow/arm of the side, and when we lie on our backs she would be forever saying 'I'm too hot get away' :ROFLMAO:

If we had the same caravan minus the Bed, we would sleep at the front, but you get a lot of extras with the Grande SE version....
