Keep up with the news from the USA.
You could always just ignore this thread for a while.
We live in England so the CEO of some company cuddling his co worker is of no interest to us and not even newsworthy when we have a war in the Ukraine and fighting in the Middle east. Is this news going to affect our way of living etc? Plus probably over 90% of people had no idea who he is and what he did for a living. Never mind knowing about his company.

The problem with some threads is that none of us, me included , can know everything that is going on in the World.
When “jokes “ about certain things arise not all of us will grasp the nettle, not because of ignorance but just because it is outside of our usual life knowledge.
May I very politely suggest that in that situation it may be prudent to accept the situation and perhaps try and learn from those that are aware.
Please can we try and enjoy a few jokes and fun before we all get nuked out🤪

I do enjoy good jokes, but with this one I was totally lost as it did not make any sense, but time to m ve over for more real jokes. 👍 😀

Thanks, I need some TLC at the moment - just come out of hospital having had a large inoperable gallstone diagnosed - so need to change to a completely fat-free diet and face the prospect of regular recurrences - and on top of all that, Mrs L had a major eye operation at the weekend and really needed me at home to help with the 20+/day eyedops - not a good week so far!

Hope that things start to improve for your wife’s eyes, and that diet can control your gall bladder pain and possible infections, which from experience are excruciating..

I am glad the little cartoon helps, I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago, after excruciating pain, and last year detached retina surgery twice, amazing what surgeons can do.
I wish you both a good recovery.

Very sorry to hear this Roger.
I assume your Scottish tour is now on hold😥.
Mrs DD had a gall stone issue some years ago . They removed the whole gall bladder . I guess it depends where the stones are, bile duct?

Hopefully you will both improve over the next few months and enjoy your caravan.

Thanks - we cancelled the Scottish tour a few weeks back because Mrs L's eye operation came through and we didn't wan't to delay it - looks now like our Northumberland trip may go the same way.

In my case, they can't/won't operate due to my heart failure so the usual treatment of removing the gall bladder isn't an option.- the previous gallstone, 8 years ago was stuck in the bile duct but was extracted using an endoscopy - this new stone is in the gall bladder itself and too big to get out but big enough to block some of the ducts. Ironically, my diet is already low in fat and spicy food and my cholesterol is very low so difficult to know what to change.

I must be losing my marbles though - I got my son to take my Touareg home when the hospital wanted to keep me in - and offered it to him for the day while his was being serviced !!

I am willing now to swap my car with my youngest lad. I have a 11 year old Santa Fe at 101600 miles, he has a 2025 LJR Defender with 9400 miles on the clock and just ordered his next one. Perks of being a stressed out JLR manager.

Roger, hope everything goes smoothly and recovery is good, it was forme with Bile duct removal, keyhole surgery was with the keys for the Tower of London.

Thanks Hutch - surgery is out of the question for me because of my dicky heart but I'm coming to terms with having to give almost everything up!

My B-i-L is a retired JLR manager but still gets one scheme car, a Velar at present - but I'm not jealous at all!

Apologies to all for the Fred Drift.

So you have an Electric car a proud owner of a "say" Polestar 2. And it breaks down , you can call the AA.

If you have a small Toyota Yaris EV, and it breaks down , do yo have to call the AAA.
Think about it.

Strange to be named radar, then again there was an hedgehog called sonic
Sorry if I am missing the joke in your post; I was up early ☹️. But he was called Radar because he mysteriously knew that there were helicopters bringing in wounded to the MASH unit, before they got told by radio or heard them.
