Hello
So (from the outside) when you remove the blue cover to fit the service kit there is a white washer plunger spring and a top hat washer does anyone know the correct way this goes together and where the little top hat washer goes and which way ?
Ive changed everything yes everything apart from this white plunger thingy all sent by whale FOC (thank you whale) the pump still runs and don't turn off, no leaks etc,
I feel that its something to do with the plunger because if I follow the below test when I push a pen into the spigot I don't get a click its solid ? and when I
Connect left wire to left connector on the socket middle wire to middle connector the pump runs and it shouldn't
At the socket take a photo of the wiring from left to right on the IC controller
Remove the wires
Remove IC controller
Switch on pump at panel
Connect left wire to left connector on the socket middle wire to middle connector
Pump should not be running
Open the Kitchen tap at the cold side
With the flat end of a pen gently push the plunger into the spigot on the socket
You should hear a click and pump will start running
Release the plunger and pump should stop working.
If the pump didn’t start/ stop the microswitch will need to be replaced
I am probably going to buy a complete new unit but without the IC controller as its just a pain in the ass.
Any thoughts as ive gone water inlet blind now
Thanks
