Thanks Alan........that was my first thought
Decided against it as I try to keep the Old Nissan in good order and I would not want my repair to break way down in Spain!
To that end I am prepared to buy new if needed.......its only money :blink:
Update...........Fixed it
Managed to get a replacement stalk switch unit from
our local very large car breakers.
The part was from a Nissan Primera and from the outside looked identical to my old part.
They charged me £6 and it was off the shelf.......I was dubious the internals would be the same and I was right to be as the contact sliders were different.
Juggled the bits around to make one good working unit........result
