Yes Mel, we will raise a glass or two to absent Woosies. :S

Are the King and ex-royalty taking banners, or leaving that to the main Woosiefest in September?

......the King forgot his banner
Dusty has brought his.
Dusty and I have arrived and just finishing setting up.
We have a good spot just inside the entrance with two pitches next to us waiting for Fridays arrivals.

Our King has done us proud. A short walk in either direction from site takes you to shops pubs and of course the river..
A well turned out site with everything we need. We seem to have a private section of the park especially reserved for the Woosies.
There's a massive meadow walk next door ,along the river. Dogs are very happy!

I had a good morning adjusting my moter mover and lubing a kitchen drawer that my Good lady complained about. Sir WC doesnt know about my afternoon hiccup yet, all will be revealed after Tuesday. All good fun here. Sir DD'S dog whistle doesn't work when our dogs have a ball. Shame more Woosies couldn't get here.
Sir WereRabbit.

The site looks lovely and we'd have loved to have been there with you all.
I'm stuck at home working in the garden today, never mind, two midweek choral rehearsals and a posh wedding performance next Saturday and I'm free for a few weeks before Polmanter in St Ives from 2nd June. :cheer:

Lovely lunch today withr The king and his Lovely lady and the other Knights and ladies,
Ok Martin, to put you out of your misery,
1st question , how many ways can you put up an Awning,
Answer, two, the wrong way and the correct way. Don't thread it inside out. And have to rake it down again and refit.
Question 2. How long does it take to fill an Aquaroll,
Answer, Along time if you forget to fully close the endcap if your filling it on its side,
All in all a great weekend..rain just starting.

Good luck with singing Parksy. No doubt you will entertain in the Polmanter showers :p
A very pleasant walk from the site down into St Ives. A minibus will bring you back.
Our Hutch has committed another Woosieism today. Sooner or later he'll get the hang of this caravanner lark
