i use plastic screw bottle tops ,drill a 10mm hole in the top and slide the steel peg through.you can hit these with the hammer and they dont smash.

as you pass the metro center heading north as you cross the river tyne is a bad spot for wind as it comes down the tyne vally.also as you approch the peterlee turn off this is another bad spot as the road is on an embankment with no tree cover,they have put a sign up which comes on when the wind...

hi,caroline the play park has gone,the wood was rotten, more hard standing pitches have been put in over winter and while i was there they had an electician putting more hook ups in for grass pitches.the site was full and the electric did not trip out once,not like a few years back ,the site...

just got back from a few days at moffat c.c.c. site, could not believe kids playing in the small dog walk at the far end of the site,the parents were in their with them at one point,god knows what state they got in ,not every one cleans up after their dog.

hi i have just bought a new car ,i told the salesman that i needed a full size spare for towing,he supplied a steel full size wheel and a spacer to level the boot floor,and at no extra charge.

plenty of dog walks ,they did have a delivery of papers and different kinds of home made bread each day ,possibly the best toilet block we have seen on this site,owners live on the site. colin

we stopped on this site in 2007 ,the site is sloping so you may need chocks,contact the site when it opens as some pitches are quite close to the toilet block.as someone has said morrisons about 1/2 a mile from site,kendal about a mile, we use to walk through the feilds to kendal you walk...

stopped here last year ,keep trying the owner will most likely be doing the gardens .great site just off the main street.good food in the pub in the main square.

david i have same problem,so i now replace the broken plastic cap with a plastic screw bottle top ,drill a 11m.m hole in it ,you can get yellow ones which show up better in the dark,they dont smash if you hit them ,like the original tops.hope this helps you out colin.

HI we stayed at kendal last year ,the site is sloping so you will need chocks,the toilets block was small but usual good clean standard.no pub near by but a morrisons is about 1/2 mile away . you can walk through a farm and a few feilds to get to the shops but kendal is a 1. 1/2 miles...

hi ships run on heavy oil when they are out at sea ,this oil has to be pre heated before use as it is like treacle when cold,once heated it can be used more easly, norway have put a proposal to stop using this oil as it gives of more pollutants,
