Thats the kiss of death then.

OK Right next door to me at the Sep Woosie Fest (Pitch 33) is Icaru5

Now I am wondering, last night I watched a sort of documentary about doping in sport with a title: Icarus

Is there any connection?

Icarus

By the way very interesting watch!

Icarus was the son of the famous craftsman Daedalus in Greek mythology. His father was the creator of the Labyrinth, a huge maze located under the court of King Minos of Crete, where the Minotaur, a half-man half-bull creature lived.

Wasn't Icarus the one who flew too close to the sun?
The name rings a bell from my days in 4th form history lessons

Yes. The sun melted the wax holding the feathers on the wings. Plunged to his death. Price of hubris.

About the same as the cost of a Hammerfor,

Anyone got anything newer? B)

Reminds me of:
Tartan Paint
Box of Sky Hooks and a Glass Hammer
A Long Weight
Box of Rivet Holes
and the best for last
A Standing Punch

Its scary how many guys fell for that lot, and the following week were issued with a weapon πŸ˜›

Breakfast today reminded me of the Woosies.

Eggs and bacon (bacon from an ex King from down Cricklade way).

Nice bit of bacon that is, cheers ex-kingy.

Still on the bacon topic !

I was gifted a different bacon type by one of the knights, my wife let my son have a taste and the pack vanished from our fridge soon thereafter, leaving me bereft of the opportunity to sample said bacon πŸ™ (must have been burgled in the night, I guess  ).

Anyways, thank you

It has been known that the Fridge Fairies tend to have the Bedfordshire Black Bacon away.

There are four butchers I use who cure their own bacon.
Cricklade
Kirkby Lonsdale
Ullapool
Much Wenlock.

They all do other excellent home produce including black Pudding . Stornaway BP takes some beating!
