We have found the scenic plus to be brilliant in all weathers - including the snow last month. Ours came with a skirt, too.

I've just changed to Calor Lite - dead easy and works fine. Had to change the connector (recent van); no problem.

Two main things to look out for are damp and delamination. Had a 510-5 that suffered horribly....

You could also try putting the seat backs (both of them) alongside the single bed - have done that in the past when my leg was in plaster and I needed the extra room.
